Alright beauty enthusiasts..... Sale season has begun!  Lets see those sale purchases that are flooding in!

Alright my final order from the Sephora sale finally came in. Everything but the clear EADEM Le Chouchou Exfoliating + Softening Peptide Lip Balm Butter Mochi  is for me. The clear balm is for my fiancé who has been picking his dry lips lately and asked for lip balm. The SC brush and Dior powder will live in my work purse and serve for retouching my makeup on long days. Lashes might come in handy for engagement photos but TBD.

Tatcha Early Black Friday Sale:

This shipped out and got delivered in less than 24 hours from time of making the purchase. Got to my place before I did after traveling for work. Color me impressed!

Picked up several travel items to replenish my stash since I will be away for Thanksgiving and Christmas and can’t afford to run out on precious skincare minis. I also picked up 2 sheet masks and will be pampering myself this weekend after a brutal week of work 🫩

Rhode direct + Sephora holiday savings

The Rhode Mini Peptide Glazing Fluid Dewy Gel Serum and Rhode Pocket Blush Buildable Hydrating Cream Blush are gifts to others as are a couple of the limited edition scented Rhode Peptide Lip Tint Nourishing Glaze. I'm keeping Raspberry Jelly as I didn't already have that one in my collection and probably Espresso ... or maybe Ribbon since I don't have that shade either or maybe Toast ... 🤔 I also picked up the ginormous bag @ather but will have to take and post a photo another day. [Edited 11.19 to add: Wore Raspberry Jelly today; the scent on it is very subtle, not at all overwhelming.]

I'm slowly building out my set of Sephora Collection brushes and these beauties were part of my last purchases during the holiday savings event. Hemmed and hawwed over whether to get the brush set @missjeanie picked up (and may still end up getting it before the year is over 🤔) but ultimately went with these 3 new-to-me brushes (Nos. 18, 19 & 59) and 3 that are duplicates (or a triplicate for one of them) of some of my favorites from the collection (Nos. 15, 40 & 47).

SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Foundation Brush #47 - I use this for cream blush, bronzer & highlighter, my cushion foundation. It's also one of the only 2 brushes I need for the MUFE palette.

I always forget, until we're in the thick of it, that the period from October through February can be heavy on the brush hauls for me. 😄 Do you find yourself more drawn to particular brushes, either brand or brushes designed for a particular purpose (e.g., face/foundation, blush, eyes, etc.)

The red handles on the brushes are very pretty. Does the espresso lip balm smell like coffee?

@nuinui933, thank you. Oh, it would be great if it smelled like espresso; I love the smell of coffee, or coffee beans as they are being ground or roasted. Mmmm... The scents are all dessert related, the espresso tint is said to have a tiramisu scent. Here's what the brand put out with respect to the scents. They're all on the subtle sound, not overwhelming or nor too sweet.

lol @danielledanielle, the Sonia G brushes are, as to be expected, wonderful! 😍 I haven't played too much with the eye brushes but the face ones 👌 That second one in the photo, the middle one has been great for setting powder under the eyes or to set concealer over blemishes. 🙏 The largest one I've been using to apply finishing powder. Soft but not too soft. That last one too is good for getting into corners, which has come in handy when I have on a fuller coverage foundation and I want to make sure I can get powder into smaller spaces like around the corners of the nose.

Love this haul.  I'm at home today and right away went and to see which of these brushes I had and didn't have. I was looking for your cream blush brush and discovered that I do have that one.  I use mine for cream contour around my forehead.  

I used my Rhode lip yesterday... I think I'll need to pick up the scented ones too.  Do you know if they're limited edition @itsfi ?

I find the 47 brush to be very versatile @missjeanie which makes it easier to pick up more. 😂 Though something tells me that should actually help to limit the number I need, lol. I'm sorta toying with the idea of picking up yet another one - during the sale next month - 30% off Sephora Collection, I'm in!!! - that would give me 3 of them - one for cream blush, one for cream bronzer and one for liquid/cream foundation (or one I can just always keep with my MUFE palette). 

The scented Rhode lip treatments are limited edition. If I'm remembering right, she sometimes does one restock of her limited edition products if/when they sell out.

@lmaster, thank you. The brushes have been working out well. I have to say too that having more does make it easier to brush off (🤣 pun totally intended) washing them daily since I have others within easy reach. 😂🤣😂
