A couple of sale orders from PMG direct and Ulta. No swatches of anything because it’s 4:45 AM and my brain just decided not to pull an all-nighter after all (to correct my messed up sleep schedule), so I’m gonna try getting some sleep after posting this.

Much gratitude to the person who gave me a PMG gift card as an early birthday present! Didn't buy tons of lipstick with it because I, um, already have most of the PMG bullets. 😄

Me: Nope, still not buying Mothership IX just for 1 multichrome among a wide field of pinks. 

Also me: …I mean, unless someone gives me a gift card during PMG’s Black Friday sale (hooray!), and the discount’s more than 20%. 

To get my order into 35% discount range, I added the Celestial Odyssey MTHRSHP Mega palette + highlighter bundle. (I was waiting til this sale to buy that Mega palette anyway.) I also finally grabbed the highlighter trio. The BlitzTrance shade is Fuchsia Perfect, which I thought I already had but apparently not… eh, if I do, now I have a $19 backup. 

Ulta: 

5x points on nail polish + a few of my Ulta points = a pretty good deal.

Thanks @ather ! Of the 3 Ulta bags that were available, this is the only one that interested me. And good grief, I need to do something about my collection of small makeup/beauty bags... I didn't realize how many I've accumulated over the years via GWPs until I started pulling them all together as potential gift bags for others. Some bags, like this one, I'll keep for myself. 👍

Thank you @tsavorite ! Ironically, I went nearly all of 2021 without a major PMG purchase, unlike in previous years. I was originally going to buy just the Mega palette and one of the holiday collection quads (the one with the blue eyeshadow). But after many people mentioned how small the quad pans are compared to those in previous quads, I talked myself out of it—and into all this instead. 😄

@WinglessOne   Nice haul!  Your pictures are always so good.  I understand what you mean about trying to stay up all night to correct your sleep; I can't do that anymore.  Now my body wakes up after 4 hours, since that's what it's used to, instead of sleeping all night.

I did take a muscle relaxer 12 hours apart- yesterday at noon and again at midnight.  I slept most of the day and some of the night, and actually got up at 7:30 a.m. and stayed awake!  I hope this is the miracle I've been wanting and I'm back to normal.

I hope your sleep schedule returns to normal—well, good normal. 🙂 It's amazing how little daily sleep some of us can (safely) operate on. 3-5 hours a night was my norm until just a few years ago. Since them, I've been usually stuck on a 5-hour internal sleep clock no matter what time of night or day I fall asleep. Lately I've managed to stretch it to 6 hours, somehow. 

Funny story, where "funny" = "I can laugh about it now, but I was pissed off when it happened": Yesterday morning, I fell asleep sometime between 5:15 and 5:30 AM—hooray! But I was woken up around 8 AM by a super loud continuous noise. I remember suddenly hearing 100 lawnmowers in my dream, then realizing "wait, that noise sounds more like helicopters" as I woke up. The more awake I became, the more I thought there must be 5-10 helicopters swarming my neighborhood. But they sounded like they were hovering awfully low. So I looked out my bedroom window and saw a single construction-crew helicopter hovering about 20 stories off the ground, right outside my window. It was lifting a couple of large equipment (cooling/venting units, I assume) from a flatbed truck in the road up to the roof of the building across the street. Because sure, 8 AM on a Saturday is a wonderful time to send a hulking helicopter down into a fairly quiet residential area of the city. Surprisingly, that thing wasn't as loud as the black hawk copters that buzzed my area however many years ago during military training ops—which no one warned residents about ahead of time—and shook buildings. But still: my precious sleep, dashed! 😂🤦‍♀️ Ah, the joys of city life.

@WinglessOneNever in my life have I seen a helicopter lift a piece of machinery!   I can certainly understand your feelings; the timing was exquisite (kind of.)

You should have been warned about the Black Hawk invasion- that would have been terrifying!

You were probably in a deep sleep at that time.  No telling what the brain will perceive during a dream.  One day I had gotten to sleep early a.m.  I was in a dead sleep at 7 or so, dreaming vividly (many of my dreams are dystopian or apocalyptic, how fun.)

My doctor called me around that time, and instead of sitting up in bed, I kept lying down while talking.  At least, I tried to talk.  I kept saying "Uh huh, uh huh," to indicate I was paying attention, but in between those comments I was back into my dream. 

I thought my doctor hung up on me, but I can't be sure because I was out of it.  But I made some comments I wasn't aware of, and they must have been good, because the next time I went in  for something (soon afterwards,) both my doctor and the assistant were trying hard not to laugh at me.  I had called beforehand to confess I couldn't remember what was said during that call  and I'm glad I did because at least that gave an explanation for whatever I said!  And I've been too chicken to ask what it was.  Everything's okay now, thankfully.

I'll bet we're both a lot of fun  under anesthesia too.  I earned some laughs for that too.  Let's just say I shouldn't have read the Daily Mail and all the Royal Family gossip the night before my colonoscopy because I was cognizant enough to carry on a conversation, even if it was wild and didn't make any sense.  I also discussed my Prime Day purchases with the team. lol
