Large pore help!

I have tried quite a few primers and none of them Seem to help my pores. My skin is otherwise pretty smooth. But it really kills the vibe when I can’t get that smooth look with my foundation. Smashbox seems to work best, but it’s not perfect. Im on like my 4th foundation as well. Ideas?!

Re: Large pore help!

Hi! You can never eliminate your pores completely - it's how your body is able to cool itself - but I get what you mean, nobody wants enlarged pores! What worked best for me especially on my nose and cheeks is a charcoal mask - both glamglow and peter thomas roth make great ones..i'm sure there are others, but the charcoal mask is key! Have a great day!

Re: Large pore help!

Check out Pore Delete made by the makers of The Ordinary. This stuff works wonders!! You can use it over your makeup and it blurs the look of pores really well. It's made by Hylamide and called Pore Delete. I use it because I am almost 50 and have big pores on my cheek and forehead area from aging. Go to the Deciem site and click on Hylamide in the top left hand corner. That will take you to the product page for all Hylamide products. I wish Sephora carried it, but they don't. It is a reasonable price as well.

have you tried Hourglass?

Large pore help!

I swear on collegen supplements. I've been taking Vital Proteins daily, and my skin has never looked better!

RE: Large pore help!

Try Dr. Brandt pore minimizer. It’s not really mattifying and kinda drying so just use it on the big pore areas. That stuff is amazing! Best pore minimizer I have tried.

Large pore help!

I have the same big pores problem. Lorac used to have this Aqua gel that did wonders. Covered my pores, didnt cause pimples or clog my pores either. It left this fresh even canvas over my skin and my makeup would stay all day clinging to the sheet layered on top of my skin. then, they discontinued it, of course. I have been on a hunt ever since with expensive and cheap brands. so far the best is the Becca Matte. very nice even finish and your make stays put. I like the matte look but not all the time so I dont use it everyday. It doesn't cause pimples but it does clog my pores so I have to make up wipe, wash my face twice, astrigent after till no more residue shows on the cotton, then toner. It's worth it though to not see those pores when I need to look my best. I always get compliments on my makeup when I wear the Becca Matte. hopefully this helps.

RE: Large pore help!

I have large pores as well that I inherited from my mom and the Glam Glow Super Mud Mask is AMAZING! It’s on the pricier side but well worth it. You notice a difference after the first use. I usually grab the larger size during the VIB sales.

Have you tried the pores no more one by Dr. Brandt? it's got a tint andthough it disappears into my darker skin, I'm not sure how it would lookon yours. get a sample from Sephora! it makes my blackheads vanish, skin smooth, and it eats oils! My makeup lasts all day without getting greasy. Hope this works for you. PS* If you find it's dry, try using less or mix it with equal parts moisturizer ( I use a pea size amount only on my t zone)
