Summer is around the corner and it’s time to celebrate the warmer weather and new Summer product releases ☀️
Please post your hauls for this month.
Happy Birthday to all the June babies!!!
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad figures (June 16th).
This is my first time doing a haul so I don’t know if I’m doing this correctly.
I kind of went wild this July, even though it’s only been like two weeks I have gotten quite the amount of stuff.
Patrick Ta highlighter and blush in shade baby and just enough: if you do not know if they are and have not tried them, I would recommend to try them. I have fair the light skin and those two look beautiful in my skin tone.
Charlotte tilbury flawless filter shade 2.5: even though that Charlotte tilbury is on the expensive side it leaves a glowy mat finish on skin. The downside is that they do not have the best shade range. There are cheaper versions like elf, but I would recommend to splurge on the Charlotte Tilbury.
sol de Janeiro Carioca crush: I do not like perfume, but oh my it smells heavenly. It has hints of Crisp pear, pink, violet, and white Cinderwood. I am super bummed that it is a scent because I would wear this every single day and buy 1000 of those sell out.
Summer Fridays, pink sugar: I don’t really like lip balm like I usually wear lip sticks, but some Fridays has changed my mind for the rest of time it moisturize the lips without making it too oily into dry it stays on for actually quite a long time and for me, they never run out. $24 is quite pricey, but they last A long, long time. Would buy 1 trillion of those.
drunk elephant F balm: I Think drunk elephant is a total rip off but the F balm is so worth it For the longest time I had the dry skin, but the moisture is incredible. You need to put on for once a week and did last so long. It’s so expensive, but incredibly worth it in my opinion personally.
Reminder that these are my opinions, and if you want to know about products, don’t be afraid asked questions! Always remember to treat yourself you deserve it
I have been on a no buy so just a baby haul! Thank you @TeamBIC
I have Summer Fridays Mini Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL on auto replenishment. I love that it shows up at my house once a month. The mini version is great to have around especially to travel with! I normally fill a small container to bring with me when I travel but this is a great size to bring with me.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Find Comfort Stop & Soothe Aromatherapy Pen 0.16 oz / 5 mL was recommended to me by @itsfi and it didn’t disappoint! The scent is subtle but refreshing to give me a little pick me up. I have used oil aromatherapy and liked it but the gel is a great idea. I put some in my hands and rubbed it together and held close to my face and breathe in and it is so relaxing. I keep it in my work bag so I have it around if I need a moment.
I saw one of my fellow BIC friends use MERIT Solo Shadow Cream-to-Powder Soft Matte Eyeshadow and rave so I thought I would try it. It didn’t bother my sensitive eyes but I don’t know if I picked the right shade. I’ll keep it because it’s pretty and just subtle enough but I may need to pick up another shade!
@ather I haven't tried Merit but that shadow shade is very pretty
@CorgiMommy Oooo you need to check out the Merit line! I haven’t had a product I didn’t like!!
Gorgeous haul! I love all these choices! I’m curious to see how you like the Merit Eyeshadow? Is it a first time buy? The Rare Beauty find comfort collection has really changed the game it’s such a unique scent, I love that aroma pen it’s very soothing. Enjoy your very pretty pink haul 💕 @ather
@peculiarzmakeup Thank you! 😊 I like the merit eyeshadow mostly because it didn’t irritate my eyes. But I think I need a different shade!!
Oooo it’s nice to hear another fan of the pen!
Loving your new beauties!! I’m so happy you like the Rare Beauty pen. Yessss, I like how it’s both calming and uplifting! 😊 Oh, your cute pic 😍 is reminding me that I need to get back on track with the Virtue serum. Must be consistent. Definitely want to hear your take on it after you have some time to play around with it.
@itsfi Thank you 😊 oooo you like the virtue serum! That’s good to hear!! I’m using Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum Hydrating Treatment for Dry Hair 3.04 oz / 90 ml but now I’m excited to try it out!!! I really have been liking the Kerastase. I like how you can add it without it causing your hair to feel weighed down!
I agree the pen is calming and uplifting for sure! It’s a great addition!
I'm with you on Kerastase @ather! I really enjoy their products, including that Nutritive 8H serum. @Mellmars1185 is a fan of that serum as well. My list of hair care products to try (at some point) includes a few products from the brand. But first ... must continue to shop my stash, and be selective about new items I pick up.
@itsfi I feel you on that one! My hair has been weird lately tho. Or maybe it’s just actually healthy and I don’t know what to do with it 🙂
"Or maybe it’s just actually healthy and I don’t know what to do with it"
Oh my goodness, this gave me a good chuckle @ather ... it resonates so deeply with me - it's so true. I feel like my hair is at its healthiest after a visit to my hair person and he gives my hair a good mask and treatment. I should have him take a pic of my hair after he's done with it, so I know what healthy looks like, and have a point of reference. 😄
@itsfi Oooo that’s a great idea!! Maybe I better do the same.
It is so humid here too so I feel like I look like a lion as soon as I step out of my house. I used conditioner and it made my hair so greasy looking. So I was like hmmm maybe I don’t need that anymore??? I have no clue! Normally we are so dry in the summer so my hair wants all the conditioner! I’ll figure it out!! And once I do the weather will likely change on me. But if one thing I’m adaptable!
A coworker who always has amazing hair says she puts oil in her hair every day but I’m not sure that works for fine hair. Maybe I’ll try a tiny drop tomorrow and I will look less like a lion! 🦁
@ather, yeah, I have to be careful with hair oils as well. I only apply it to the length and ends, avoiding the scalp as the heavier oils can make my hair look and feel greasy when I apply to the scalp. My hair really likes the Oribe Mini Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil 1.7 oz/ 50 mL
@itsfi ooo that’s good to know! I used the JVN Complete Nourishing Hair Oil Shine Drops 1.7 oz/ 50 mL and only used it on my lengths and I think it was ok! I might check out the oribe!!
Ahhh, I like those JVN drops. The Oribe is thicker in consistency, but not so thick as to be goopy or difficult to work with on fine hair. @ather
