Happy July BIC! School’s out and summers on! 😎🍉 Happy Canada Day to all the Canadian BIC members and Happy Independence Day to all the Americans! 🇨🇦🇺🇸 And it’s also vacation (or staycation) time for many of us!

Please share your jubilant July hauls and haulettes with us. What are some products that bring you joy? And if you’re on vacation, did you pick up any unique or local beauty products? We want to see it all! 😊

That's too bad, @itsfi !  I have that problem with a lot of perfume.  Hopefully, I can give it a test drive.

@Titian06, it’s such a bummer when that happens, right?! Compared to some other perfumes it’s fine - I’ve had some that have not smelled on me at all like what the notes would suggest 😂

Thank you @Sunnysmom! I went in store to check out some of the other shades after really liking my first few uses of this Laid Back shade. They didn’t have the product out but one of the cast members was so kind and went to check their new products. She came out with a bin with all the shades and got the okay to create testers on the spot. *squee An impromptu mini swatch party ensued. 😍 Shout out to Luna at the Union Street, San Francisco, CA store 🙌🏼 @TeamBIC 

 

This is the Laid Back shade a few hours after application and after my morning cup of coffee, breakfast, a glass of kombucha, and a couple slices of a peach. 😊

Oooh, Im curious to see if mixing Unbothered with the Rose Inc Mortal flame will give it more of an orange tinge? 😍 @itsfi

Oh, that would be a pretty combination @Buootiful. There’s one store in the city that has a full Rose Inc section; I may try to stop by and pair up swatches of those two shades over the weekend if I’m in the neighborhood. Will tag you if I do.

@itsfi Wow! That must have been so exciting! The packaging looks similar to the Rare Beauty Matte Lip Mousse. Have you tried them before? If so, are they comparable?

@Mellmars1185, it was super fun! And now I have a couple additional shades I had not expected to pick up. 😆 

Believe it or not, I have not (yet) picked up the Rare Beauty Matte Lip Mousse. I think I just keep getting distracted by other things. You like the RB, yes? I really should try something from that range - I’ve been happy with what I picked up from her brand.

@itsfi So far I am happy with everything I have tried from the brand. The only thing is the foundation shades I picked are off. Nothing a little colour Corrector can't fix 😊

Thank you @Loretta55! It surprises me that I’m reaching for matte liquid lipsticks. Not all the time though; I do love me some tinted lip balms and lip glosses. 🥰 I’m telling myself that all my lip purchases this month are in honor of National Lipstick Day 😆

Ooh thank you so much @itsfi ! So helpful! My store didn’t have them out the other day when I asked and didn’t want to dig for them! 😭 I spy some good shades. Are they dryish or comparable to anything? The new Rose or Gucci?

@Sunnysmom, I lucked out. The store was quiet that morning so I was very fortunate they had the time and the castmember was willing to go check for me. We had so much fun swatching and talking about beauty products. She found a couple of shades she wanted too, and then some of her coworkers were looking at the swatches and product. Yaaaay! 😃

This one has a more watery, thinner consistency; maybe the thinnest compared to Rose Inc and Gucci. All 3 are formulated so that they don’t feel super drying like the  matte liquid lipsticks back in the day.
