Great idea @SportyGirly125! Gifts for men are always difficult. Shopping for my dad was both easy and hard growing up. Shirts and belts were the safe option, but it got repetitive and my sister and I started to feel bad that we couldn’t find anything unique for him.

One idea that I saw was to find a well-loved item that’s run down or worn out and get it repaired, not replaced. I know for myself, once I find something I like, I will try to hang on to it for as long as possible. Repairing it is a nice gesture and I still get to hang onto that exact item a little longer. Unless the battle scars actually represent something, in which case, don’t do it!

@JoSometimes @It’s always hard when you try to get the right gift but they don’t tell you what they want. My Dad is pretty hard to shop for. He likes simple things. I could get him a Dictionary (because he loves learning) and he would be happy but he deserves more than that.

The best gifts I have given my husband are a Sonicare toothbrush and Bose headphones. He uses them everyday.
