The Ouai serum has been good to me so far. Let's hope that stays the case. 🤞 Awww, she was super sweet to say how much she liked my lipstick and we started chatting a little about beauty. I waited on tables when I was in high school and shifts can feel really long and tiring. The restaurant was short staffed that evening so I thought the lippie might be a nice extra.

Aww, thank you @sister13! I think the gifts were well received! Phew! 😀 I was happy they were all available in a nearby store, made last minute shopping easier and less stressful. 👍 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and that you can get some R&R in these last few days of the year - you've had a lot going on with work, travel and moving.

Thank you @PrettyPaint! Hope you've been having a great holiday season - it's so crazy how fast it's gone by. I say that every year but it seems to go by so much more quickly every year as well! 

Have you tried any Skylar fragrances before? I find them to be on the lighter side and wear close to the skin. That's the same with Peach Fields in terms of the overall wear of the perfume, so I wasn't surprised by that. I was suprised, and disappointed, that the peach scent was so subtle and short - it comes in briefly and quickly fades out before drying down to a more woodsy and floral scent, both of which are also on the mild side, though they are more pronounced than the peach, and linger longer. They're the last notes I pick up. Nice but not the peach I expected or hoped would linger. I also didn't expect (and this was the bigger issue for me with this fragrance) that the smell of alcohol (not the warm boozy smelling kind) would be so prominent in the opening. While I can pick up a slight peach scent after that alcohol smell wears off, it's not an ideal opening for me. I know perfume wears differently on people and I've read some good reviews of Peach Fields but it sadly doesn't perform very well on me.

@itsfi Thank you so much for the detailed review. That's really helpful. I agree that Skylar fragrances are pretty light. I was hoping this one was heavy on the peach, so I will probably skip it and see if it is offered as a sample. I can be somewhat sensitive to fragrances, especially when the rubbing alcohol scent is too strong. All in all, I'm guessing it's probably not a dupe for TF Bitter Peach 🙂

@PrettyPaint, oh if only this were a dupe for Bitter Peach. 🍑 That lovely stands head and shoulders above. It’s a good idea to pass on this one. The peach notes are too mild in it and it’s an effort to get there waiting for that alcohol smell to go away.
