It’s that time again for Beautylish’s Lucky Bags. Which ones are you hoping to snag this year regular $75, XL $150 or are you going to pass on it? Please post pictures of the ones you get. They usually go on sale the day after Christmas and ship in January so sign up to be notified of when they drop on the site and be quick because they will sell out fast.

Finally Beautylish sent me a replacement for my lost package. I don’t own any of the products, they’re all very usable, and the value is good. I’m happy.

Regular Bag in Fair/Light

Overall I'm really happy with this. I finally got a bag without a ND palette and with no brands I dislike! Do I wish the color cosmetics were different colors, sure, but it's a pretty powder blush and cream product. And while the Viseart palette is a little more workhorse than I'd usually reach for, I like that palette itself and I can make BYOP with it.  Could the Charlotte Tilbury be a full sized, again, yes. But overall the value was really good and I'll use all of the products. 

 

 

I paid $100 CAD after gift cards ($170 CAD retail) for $335 CAD value, so overall a win for me. Although I saw some people getting similar bags with full brush sets and I was like, that's the winning bag IMHO.

@haleyvvvv I agree Viseart palettes can be great companion palettes.  I like that they use magnetic pots as well.  I'm glad you'll get use out of everything and are happy with your bag!

@haleyvvvv  Yay, I’m glad you got such a good-for-you lucky bag! I’ve been curious about those Manasi 7 pots, so I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the one you got (after you’ve had enough playtime, of course).

I’m seeing a lot more Chikuhodo and Sonia G. brush sets in lucky bags this time around. Those may be the luckiest bags, but so are bags that contain nothing the recipient won’t/can’t use. So your bag seems extra lucky too.

Thank you @WinglessOne !! I still need to try out the Manasi 7 pot, I think it'll be great for a monochrome look and I love the color (but also think this would really nice on a wide range of skin tones). 

Agreed that the best ones are the ones where the recipient will use all of most, but the brush set ones could make up in value for even a disappointing box. It'll be interesting to see how Beautylish plans for next year given that they re-released them.
