@Sunnysmom Nope, I haven’t picked up the new Guerlain KissKiss matte lipstick yet. I saw Nordy has them so I might use Notes to get one. Good to know the refill bullets won’t work without the case. Eh, at least this case doesn’t seem bulky and only costs $10 over the price of the refill. 👍 And I saw Guerlain offers all available shades as refills. They’re doing this refill thing the right way. Anyway, glad the formula’s a winner for you! Sounds like there are lots of other winners in your hauls too, even if some have a learning curve.

So true @WinglessOne . I forgot to try the little roll up trick with the refill so I’ll do that too but yes they’re not too pricey at least. I see Macy’s has them on promo too. The shades are very impactful and quite comfy. You should try em. 😊 Some good spring releases yes! Imagine you’ve found some new favs too? 💞

@Sunnysmom I’m glad to hear the KissKiss shades are comfy. I was worried they’d be a lip-drying version of the old KissKiss (the wonderful opaque cream version; I think the balm version’s still around). I’m sure one shade will find its way home to me if I can get it for $0 OOP.

Since I’m determined to stick to a low-buy this year (I’ve failed in previous years, sometimes spectacularly), I’ve been VERY selective of what I acquire and I’m trying to spend as little as I can. (This is the year I might finally use all my Ulta points and Nordy Notes.) So I haven’t picked up much spring newness. Even during Sephora’s spring sale, I only got some Sephora Collection items and one MUFE item. I do have a rouge reward waiting in the wings, so we’ll see what happens with that. Really though, I already have so much stuff… I definitely hit the over-consumption wall earlier this year.

tl;dr: I’ll live vicariously through y’all’s hauls. 🙃

Correction @WinglessOne - the Guerlain refills DO work on their own. I must have had a glitchy one but they do advance on their own if you decide to try one. They are definitely a matte, our usual demi version. I do like the slim case too. Well good on you honestly. I started out halfway decently after the holidays then I think some new blush or something got me , well that and Chanel I guess. ( I’d told myself I was only splurging on their spring releases but the other little stuff adds up. Not so little. Not ok.) I’ve been purging as well but like you have reached over-consumption max. I don’t even have many notes from anywhere except a few Sephora GCs. Awareness, new habits/hobbies! We got this!

Thanks, hi @CynthieLu! 🥰 I know, it has been tricky for me for months, ugh! ( Missed it for sure but also a little break is never a bad thing I suppose eh?! ) Oh they have, guess I haven’t read that. I was pretty surprised how much pigment they have plus not bleeding for me either. Yup I really enjoy mine and it’s made its way into my purse! 😆😊

Ahhhh Thank you for that 🙏 @Sunnysmom I didn't know what to make of the reviews and it's a bit pricey so I didn't pull the trigger. My store (or any around here) don't carry Gucci so trying to see for myself was out of the question. I appreciate your opinion 🩷

That’s so tricky isn’t it @CynthieLu , ugh. I do think there are other good similar products so unless there is a shade you’re really looking for you’re probably covered? Like our Fenty tints that we both love. I suppose Gucci does have some pretty original colors. I think I use the Violette_Fr Nectars the most besides Fenty or the new TF which you would probably also really like. 💞

I like my nude Clarins lip tint *a lot* these days, it seems to be my most reached for but ahhh but your right, and good memory @Sunnysmom. Fenty's lip stains are my all time favorite but she's missing a good nude imo. I'd love a rosey peach in an everyday hue from her. 😍

I’ve not tried the Clarins @CynthieLu . I’ll have to sometime as I really like some of their products. Good reminder on the wish list. lol. You’re right tho, most lines don’t have decent peachy nudes do they. I haven’t noticed as I’m always into the cool deeper tones. Have you tried #violette_Fr Rose de Moab? Shoot it won’t tag for me sorry. Or Kulfi Carmel? Mango has my berry color I love I’m just remembering and I see a Rose Milk nude pink I guess, and also Laka looks like they have a peachy nude too. Now that I went down the rabbit hole. 😆 Some unsolicited thoughts …🙃💞

Glad I could finally get on and share some sale goodies @Margalee ! Yes the blush applies very satiny plus has good color. I used the skinny side and blended with a brush and worked well. Pretty glow! You should probably try it if you love blush too! 💞
