@WinglessOne  I put some Vaseline on my face last night and it seemed to clear up all the irritation so I did get to wear the blush today. I was impressed how I was able to sheer it out. I wish I had taken a picture but I’ll try next time I wear it. I had a little snag y he upstairs of my house was quite hot this morning and my makeup was literally melting off my face. It was a hot mess. Even the gxve eyeliner melted off and that stuff usually sticks well and doesn’t budge. I’ll try again tomorrow and report back. I was definitely happy with the colour. Staying time I can’t really say as of now.

@WinglessOne @ather, here are swatches of  Gucci Hydrating Lip Balm 2 No More Orchids.

I’ll just say that the lip balm can be sheer, if you just make one pass of it over your lips. It actually has a good amount of color for a balm. Compared to the Gucci Lip Sheer, I’d say the lip balm has more of a sheen / shine to it than the lip sheer line.

@ather, you’re very welcome! I have to say I was a little confused at the choice of name for the lip balm - why “no more orchids”? 😲 I love orchids. 🌺 I may just have to change the name on my tube to read “orchids” or “more orchids”. 😝

@itsfi  I agree orchards are such a beautiful flower! My mom use to have a bunch and they remind me of her!! Are the other colours no more roses or no more tulips lol

@WinglessOne, pretty haul. I had a good chuckle at your comment about the Gucci "sheer" lipstick. I remember picking up my first from that range and wondering whether I had mistakenly ordered the satin coverage. Ha! It's great when you find a lipstick you love; hurrah! Your haul is reminding me that I need to post reviews for the Chris Collins fragrances; eek - I'm very late on that.

@itsfi  I had the same reaction to my first Rouge a Levres Voile lipstick: "wait, is this a satin instead of a sheer?!" 😂 I still haven't tried one of Gucci's tinted balms, and now I'm curious to see how sheer they really are. More things to swatch next time I'm in-store. 

It's been fun reading people's Chris Collins reviews. Fragrance is such a personal thing, perhaps even more than makeup, so it's especially interesting to see how some reviewers compare these scents to a few from other houses. Can't wait to see yours!

Agree @WinglessOne. It’s fascinating how each of us may pick up certain notes and not others. There’s a fragrance in the Chris Collins set that I think many folks have said makes them think of sunscreen, so I braced myself for that when I put it to a wear test. Turns out, I find it has a beach vibe I like; or maybe I just like the smell of sunblock? 🤣

@itsfi  Ha, I know which fragrance you're talking about, and I think many people associate anything in that scent family with sunscreen or tanning lotion. 😂 That one's next on my test rotation.

Very nice selection, @WinglessOne. Scarlet is so harmonious!  That Gucci Ra Voile claims to be sheer reminds me of Merit Signature Lightweight l.s. Sheer If I wear lip balm under. But directly? Full-power! To a greater extent than other l.s. Must investigate Ra Voile soon!

Chr.Collins use of copper for the vials is a clever eyecatcher.  Enjoy your goodies!

Thanks @MvLL ! I also like the copper labels on the Chris Collins vials. They were too pretty bundled together with branded ribbon to leave 'em in the box for my photo. 

Hope you like the Gucci Voile lipsticks if you try any! Some brands' definition of "sheer" is puzzling. I still chuckle about PAT McGRATH LABS Lip Fetish Sheer Colour Balm Wild Cherry and other non-astral shades of those balms being marketed as sheer. On my lips, they're quite pigmented—especially Wild Cherry. Same with the non-astral Divinyl balms. Hmm, I don't think I've tried anything by Merit yet... I keep forgetting to swatch their products when I visit Sephora. Note to self!
