BIGGEST Compliment Getters?

Id love to hear from you guys and gals, what are your biggest compliment getters in terms of fragrances?

@CurlyTabby  My biggest compliment getter is definitely Frederic Malle Superstitious. So many people have asked what this is, I carry the travel size’s empty box in my bag for show and tell. It’s one of the very few rose-forward fragrances I like on myself. I wear fragrances much more for myself than for other people, but Superstitious seems to be a crowd pleaser. 

Honorable mention: Lush Rentless. I don’t get “that smells great on you” compliments so much as “wow, that scent reminds me of...” comments from strangers. People have told me fond stories of camping trips, forest hikes, winter holiday memories... Sure, it sometimes makes me smell like a decked out Douglas fir, but I’m okay with that. My favorite Rentless compliment came from a grinning little kid I sat beside on a bus who told me “you smell like Christmas” one summer day. 😄

I use both Flowerbomb and Armani Beauty Armani Code Pour Femme 1.7 oz/ 50 mL and get more compliments when I wear Code. I think a lot of it really depends on how a fragrance interacts with your own body chemistry.

Right now it's MAISON MARGIELA - ’REPLICA’ By The Fireplace Travel Spray, but normally I receive the most compliments on Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum with Vanilla & Jasmine 3.4 oz/ 100 mLand BURBERRY - Brit Sheer.

I tend to get the most compliments when wearing Chloé Chloé Eau de Parfum with Rose & Amber 2.5 oz/ 75 mL, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum with Coffee & White Flowers 3 oz/ 90 mL and Marc Jacobs Fragrances Daisy Eau So Fresh Eau de Toilette with Raspberry & Musk 4.2/125 eau de toile.... 🙂

@CurlyTabby Literally every time I wear the Lancôme Idôle Eau de Parfum with Rose & Jasmine 1.7 oz/ 50 mLI have at least one person compliment me or ask me what I'm wearing.  I've fallen really hard for it over the last couple of months.

For me, the most complimented fragrances have been Byredo Inflorescence and NEST - Citrine.

The top fragrances which get the most compliments without a doubt are ones with patchouli as a key note .

I always get compliments when I wear Fleur Lavande by Tory Burch. The most recent occasion when I young man in Home Goods stopped me and inquired as to the name and then proceeded to find it online using his phone before he'd let me go. Prior to that an elderly lady leaned over to me in Publix and said 'you smell divine, dear'. To me it smells of violets and powder and it really is beautiful.

Great question! I feel like the fragrance we get the most compliments on is the one we should stick to the most, because people really enjoy them. The two fragrances that I get the most compliments on are the Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum with Vanilla & Jasmine 3.4 oz/ 100 mL and Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum with Tuberose and Jasmine 1.6 oz/ 50 mL. So of course, these are my most used fragrances.
