I want to start off by giving a huge thank you to @TeamBIC @CarolBT @KatieBT Sephora and Tatcha for giving us such an amazing memorable experience! We had a fantastic time and it was awesome to meet fellow community members.
The event was located at the Queensbury theater in Houston. When we arrived we had plenty of time to meet and take pictures with Carol, Katie, and community members. They served us yummy drinks and snacks while we were waiting to go into the class.
As we walked in we were handed a Sephoria swag bag! I thought it was so awesome that they had reserved us front row seats. The class was amazing. Vicky Tsai is so sweet. I loved listening to her story about how her brand was founded. I had no idea that part of her sales goes to sending girls to school. According to Vicky the essential steps of skincare should be cleansing, polishing, essence, then moisturizer. She said if there was only one product from her line that had to be chosen it would be the essence. She also said there are 5 truths of skincare.
1. Think of skincare as selfcare.
2. Cleansing your face is essential
3. If it burns it is bad.
4. Proper SPF is a must
5. Listen to your skin because it talks to you.
After the class we got to go on stage and meet Vicky and take a photo. She was so nice!
After the class was over we made a quick stop at a Sephora that was just around the block. They had a Caudalie booth set up and we got to try their face mist. It was so refreshing. Of course I had to purchase some Tatcha. I picked up the cleanser, rice polish, and the essence.
From there we headed to a a nearby restaurant where we had a private room for lunch. Not only did we get to meet JefferyBD at the event but he joined us for lunch too! We got to take more pictures and had plenty of time to sit and chat. We were served an amazing meal and dessert. Then we got to celebrate Katie’s birthday with yummy vegan cupcakes. Before we left they gave us another goody bag and the cutest T-shirt.
My daughter and I had a blast! It was so amazing to get to meet Carol Katie, Jeffery, and all the wonderful community members. Thank you again Sephora, Tatcha, and @TeamBIC for putting on such an amazing event!
