Re: wing eyeliner

I feel ya, it's so hard!! I don't think stamps are the way to go, I've only heard bad things.

Instead, I would recommend an eyeliner pen. Stila's is the best, because the formula doesn't budge and the tip of the pen doesn't fray, unlike the Kat Von D one. The Sephora eyeliner pen is also good. I would recommend starting with the Sephora brand actually, cause it's less of a financial investment incase you don't end up liking it. The biggest tip with those is to go in at an angle, not point first. Look up a youtube video if you don't know what I mean.

What I do sometimes is put scotch tape from the corner of the outside of my eyes diagonally up to the end of my eyebrow. Readjust until they're even. Draw the lines across your eyelids as normal. Then use the tape to trace your wings! The tape will keep you straight and even, so all you really have to do is worry about the length! Afterwards, draw a line from the end of your lid up to the tip of your wing, forming a triangle. Then fill in the triangle.

If you mess up, use a q-tip and some liquid makeup remover. Then dry the area and wait a few minutes so the residue from the makeup remover doesn't mess you up!

Keep practicing and find out what works for you!

The tape trick works wonders. I prefer washi tape ove scotch tape, though. It's a paper tape used in crafting. The adhesive isn't as strong as scotch tape because it's designed to be easily repositioned on paper. You can stick it on over concealer, foundation, powder, whatever, and your base will stay put after you've peeled it off. I also prefer putting my liner product (I'm partial to cream & gel liner pots, super soft pencils, and heavily pigmented shadows moistened with setting spray) on a fine, medium density, natural bristle, angled brush for application. I get a much more precise line and feel I have more control over the application. Works really well for tightlining, too.

I start with finding a good eyeliner because that can mak...

If you're having trouble with eyeliner it might be because the eyeliner you are using. Also practice helps.
