I second @kaaaylar kvd trooper is my fave. I will mention though that it’s not matte, it has a satin finish. It’s super easy to apply and stays on for the whole day.

I guess it depends on what type of liner one is looking for @gem22graham ...waterproof? coloured? felt tip? angled? brush? For me, I've fallen in love with Sigma Line Ace in shade Legend. It's a deep, opaque black eyeliner with a fine brush for precision. The formula does not streak, build up, flake/crack, or smudge. It is quick drying and even though it does not claim to be waterproof, it certainly is! That was a pleasant discovery. 😛 Since this product, I have not yet found another liquid liner that can match it's ease and staying power, although I like to try new liners often ❤️ Hope you find you like as well!

MAC Liquidlast eyeliner seriously DOES NOT BUDGE! It is amazing! I will accidently get some on my hand and it won't come off for at least two days (and I take showers every morning). That's the kind of stay power I like in my makeup!!!

I looooove the NYX Epic Ink liner. It’s so ridiculously black and easy to apply! Almost too easy. If you don’t have a steady hand, a thin line can turn into a dramatic wing in the blink of an eye. Literally. Lol.

I love my Clinique Pretty Easy Eyelining Pen! I’ve been using it almost everyday for the last 6 months and it’s still as dark as it was the day I got it. It doesn’t smudge after it sets (even for my oily eyelids) and it has a flexible brush tip. The brush tip is super flexible, but takes a while to get used to compared to a harder felt tip liner though.

The Clinique pretty easy liquid liner really is amazing, very long wearing and easy to apply the correct amount— aka if you have a heavy hand like me you won’t use 700 qtips to correct it after. Lol.
