Hi everyone! what is a really good way to make green eyeshadow look wearable for everyday work use?

My favorite way to use green for work - I'm a school counselor so I can't go crazy - is in the outer corner. Today I used taupe all over the lid, a darker brown in the crease, and a mossy green in the outer third.

transition light brown, crease is dark brown and a little black, outer corner black, lid is emerald green, inner corner is gold, water line is white.

I like to wear green on the eye lid and have a soft brown shade in the crease! I also enjoy green shades that have an added gold shift to them:)

Hi @Amarya,

I love wearing green eyeshadow and how I make it a little more wearable it by applying a eyeshadow that is golden in shade on top of it. Just a little so that the green is still seen but the gold softens the green just a bit!

@Amarya I feel like olive tones are easier to wear in the day time since they lean more muted and neutral usually. You can also line the waterline in green and make it pop more.

@makeitup305 Do you have a favorite green liner?  I haven't tried many, but of the few I tried I didn't care for.

@greeneyedgirl107 I currently have a Rimmel one that's not very good and a Kiko that was discontinued. I've been meaning to buy a few colored liners from Sephora Collection, which always work for me. I like them better than the Marc Jacobs ones I've tried which dry out so fast wear the same amount of time.

@makeitup305 I do like that line of pencils, as I own them in Tiramisu and 5th Avenue.  I discovered "Driving in Malaysia" recently, but it was already sold out.  Maybe the "Go for a Ride" would work...Unfortunately, I believe the $7 ones are not coming back.  I noticed that 5th Avenue was on sale and I confirmed with CS that it was being discontinued -- so it's not far off to think the others that are sale are being done away with as well.  Shame!

@makeitup305 Yes, it's frustrating!  I was in-store recently and hoped to snag some of the sale ones, but it looks like they already re-did the display for the current full price ones.

@greeneyedgirl107 That's really too bad. I saw that UD has a new dark green one for their Born to Run collection that looks promising. It’s called Overdrive. Their liners last ok on my waterline usually. I might see if they Sephora ones have a dupe for the color.

welll I don't have a green eyeliner I usually just get a white eyeliner and layer on top the eyeshadow I want so I can get colored eyeliner with out buying one of each color.

@Amarya  If you check Melt Cosmetics Instagram page you can see a lot of green eyeshadow looks that are wearable from their Gemini Palette.
