Which Pat McGrath palette should I try?

I finally decided to give into the Pat McGrath craze and am wondering what is a good eyeshadow palette to start with that I can get the most use out of? I have brown eyes and brown hair with a medium complexion. Hoping someone can help!

I'm so excited for you! I don't think hair color or eye color is going to stop you from using any Pat McGrath palette. It is really up to which colors you will use. If you are into warm tones, PAT MCGRATH LABS - Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette – Sublime, PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette - Bronze Seduction or PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VI Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Sun  might be worth looking into and if you like cooler tones, PAT MCGRATH LABS - Mothership I Eyeshadow Palette - Subliminal or Divine Rose might be good places to start.

Bronze Seduction can give you some everyday looks, but also has these really nice special shades that can glam up a look. I have Midnight Sun (just received it yesterday) it seems even more wearable than Bronze Seduction, the special shades are not as "loud" in this one. Aside from the purple, they all seem daily friendly. It does give me more of a fall vibe though.

I don't have Sublime, but the green seems to be the most vibrant shade, so it may be the only shade that is not as wearable. Divine Rose is a lovely palette and is one you can get a lot of use out of. It leans cool without being overwhelmingly cool like Subliminal; its only available on the Pat McGrath site though. Subliminal (I also do not have this one) seems wearable, but can become smokey, especially if gray tones translate darker on you. I did not mention PAT MCGRATH LABS - Mothership III Eyeshadow Palette - Subversive because it's one that you have to go in wanting.It is smokey and vibrant at the same time, it can give you a few wearable looks, but for most people it is a "going out" palette. 

If you have Instagram, I would suggest looking up a few hastags for the palettes you're interested in so that you can see looks that people have done with them. This can give you a feel for whether you feel inspired by the color story. I would also consider trying out her mini products as well. There are two 5 pan palettes that come in these little clear cases. They are not as luxurious as her standard palettes, but have the same formula as her metallic. There is also the blitz astral quad in Iconic Illumination, this has her special shades and can give you an idea of whether you may want to splurge on a 10 pan palette. Lastly, the spring sale is just around the corner. You may want to wait until then to pick one up to save $25 (since you're rouge you can get 20% off).

I have a few of her 10 pan palettes including Divine Rose, Decadence, and Bronze seduction. I also have all 3 of the Blitz Astral quads she released around Christmas 2019 and The Golden opulence palette. Personally I love divine rose and decadence best, but the can but harder to find. Ebay can be a good place to look for decadence right now given the situation with the COVID19 people may not be out makeup shopping as much as buying food and supplies. However if you are looking for decadence I do have 2 extra palettes that I haven't yet sold.. and I'm not into price gouging just throwing that out there if you're looking. I think divine rose may stay be available on pat McGrath website but I haven't checked in a couple days since she last launched divine rose again

Hey!! Mothership VI: Bronze Seduction I say far one of my FAVORITE Pat McGrath Labs Palettes! It is super diverse, can be used for everyday glam or amped up to a smokey eye night out. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any Mothership palette!
