Under makeup eye cream

Any suggestions for a good under makeup eye cream. Each one of the ones I have tried wash my makeup down and expose my heavy dark circles. Help!

Re: Under makeup eye cream

@najiaK Yes! Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment Softlight ! I use 3 products, but this is an eye cream that also has a tint. You can wear it on no-makeup days and it will give you some added coverage. Under makeup, it acts as a primer and gives some color correction. OLEHENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème is also good. It doesn’t have a tint like Tatcha, but it has a luminous effect. This also acts as a primer for concealer. If you want a true color corrector, my favorite is BENEFIT COSMETICS - Boi-ing Brightening Concealer. It doesn’t cause your concealer to look heavy or cakey.

Under makeup eye cream

I really like the tarte maracuja eye cream it's very hydrating, I'll use that and wait a few minutes before I do my face primers but I recently have been using a Smashbox hydrating primer for the under eye and I'm really digging that before I use a concealer. also if you just use your fingertips and Pat in the cream and then do the same with your concealer it tends to work better I feel , for me, as opposed to using a brush or a beauty blender. I did get that tatcha Pearl like the other girl suggested however to me it's more like a concealer than an eye cream, I still use an eye cream then the Tatcha Pearl. if dark circles are your concern I would definitely use some type of under eye corrector another really good combo is the Becca under eye primer and the brightening under eye treatment those two products work very well together, and another one of my all-time favorites for brightening the under eye is the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye illumination it's the pink one. just use a hydrating under eye cream let it dry and do your foundation and then use that Smashbox under eye primer and then do your It Cosmetics product that is definitely one of my favorite combos. I do not have dark circles but I do have Fine Lines or crow's feet lol but the tarte eye cream and that Smashbox under eye primer have so far been the best for me to hold concealers and not let them settle into the fine lines also I never bake or put powder because of the fine lines

Re: Under makeup eye cream

I second the primer + IT Bye Bye Under Eye recommendation. I also agree, no baking or setting with powder if you use this combo. It will only accentuate fine lines. I'm not sure where you live, but I also find I'm struggling more now with concealer settling into lines under my eyes as my skin is just drier in the pre-winter climate. So I've resurrected my Smashbox Photo Finish primer to use under the eyes, with a little Bye Bye under eye concealer and this makes a considerable difference. I don't use the photo finish primer anymore at all because of the heavy silicone and dimethicone content but for this purpose it is exceptional! SMASHBOX - Photo Finish Foundation Primer Collection IT COSMETICS - Bye Bye Under Eye™ Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer

Re: Under makeup eye cream

@najiaK I like Origins Ginzeng Eye cream.  It works great to brighten the under eye area.  I also like using Tatcha eye cream which helps with fine lines and wrinkles.

Maybe you could use a peach color corrector to help diminish the look of dark circles.
