Under Eye Creasing

I am no makeup expert, and need some help! I have defined creases under my eyes. What products can help hide them? Also, what are the steps in which you use to achieve this (Foundation first, concealer, then setting powder?)? I started using Born this Way concealer. Any tips in how I should apply this product (or in general)?

RE: Under Eye Creasing

Hey, I would recommend adding an eye creak first. Pat in gently and then let it soak in a little bit. I also add spf cream as well. After that, I use MAC studio fix 24 hr concealer. I put some on and then I blend it in with a beauty blender. I set with hourglass ambient lighting powder. I will give any under eye concealer a try as long as it doesn’t have irritating ingredients in it. I find that the way it sets depends on the cream underneath and how it gets along with the concealer. Sometimes I’ll get a crease and sometimes not. I find the studio fix to be less drying than born this way. My mom uses Laura Mercier concealer and she has lines under her eyes. It conceals it pretty well. It’s all about trial and error to find the combination that is right for your skin I find. That’s why samples are helpful. Good luck!

I also second the IT cosmetics concealer. It’s really great and you only need a little. Be sure to warm it up with your fingers first before applying.

Re: Under Eye Creasing

I had this problem with Born This Way concealer.  I now use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye very sparingly.  I use an eye cream first, then a brightener like Becca's undereye brightener and lightly layer Bye By on top.  I've also been using Elf's fluffy concealer brush to smooth out, works great!

RE: Under Eye Creasing

Fresh lotus Youth eye cream is a good product that could help or Caudalie has great products as well.
