Stila or Kat Von D

Hey, I am going to a new high school next year and really need a good eyeliner that will stay on all day. At my new school we are allowed to wear makeup and as you can imagine my makeup loving self was thrilled. I've heard great things about the stila and Kat Von D liners and wanted to know which one was better. If you have any other suggestions please send them. Thanks 🙂

As someone who has tried both I much prefer the Fenty Beauty Flyliner to those two brands. the Stila one did not apply or stay on my lids, while the Kat Von D one applied, but smudged later on in the day. My eyelids are notorious for eating any eyeliner I put on, however, Fenty stays on all day even if I go to the gym or apply it with no primer.

My favorite is the Smashbox Always on liquid liner, it stays on the through everything!

Stila. ALWAYS go with Stila over KVD.

Hi Olivia! I’d recommend the Stila one personally! I’m a nurse and run around 12 hours a day sweating and taking face masks on and off and the Kat Von D one has had a few times where it flakes off. It also dries out faster in my personal opinion.

@Olivia1335 I agree with the majority of others, KVD liquid eyeliners are amazing. I love the ink it liner best, because it has a felt tip and the tattoo liner has a brush tip, but both liners are amazing. The Ink It liner has lasted me through all types of situations, from summer pool parties, to beach days, to vacationing in the tropics, to literally being stuck outside in a rainstorm. I would definitely recommend trying out a Kat Von D eyeliner!

Hi Olivia. Between the two, the Stila one works far better for me. I find KVD dries out really really quick, I only got a couple of applications out of mine. But the Stila one is amazing and glides on super easy. I wore it for a heavy night of drinking and gambling and dancing and it stayed perfect, even when I woke up the next day.

@Olivia1335 I also recommend KVD Tattoo liner - especially if you'll be playing any sports or taking PE.  When my daughter wears eyeliner to school, this is her go-to and it lasts her through summer school in the morning and pep squad/dance team in the afternoon in this summer heat!   Good luck and enjoy your time in high school! ❤️

That's very exciting that you get to wear some make up now. I personally like the KVD tattoo liner for longevity however Stila has more colour options available. If you are looking for good old black, my pick is KVD.
