Raccoon eyes after 2 hours??

How do I make it so I don’t look like I have raccoon eyes 2 hours after I apply shadow, liner & mascara?? I do use an eye base/prep cream but maybe that’s my issue??

Mine has stopped since I started putting on my mascara, taking a tissue and blinking down on it right away and letting the excess wipe off. Then I’ll let that coat dry and repeat..

Make sure you use an eyeshadow primer AND a mascara primer! I have long lashes and hooded eyes, and my mascara would almost always rub off above my lids and below my eyes, no matter what brand of mascara I used. Then I got a sample of a Lash primer and it stopped! I’ve been using them ever since. I love Lancôme’s, and Smashbox’s the best.

Oh yes, I forgot lash primer! I love tartes opening act lash primer.

I have this issue a lot. I think I have a combo of oily lids and I blink a lot. I use an eye cream then lid primer. After that I set the primer with skin toned shadow or setting powder. I found I have better luck with waterproof products, which I know some people don't care for but it's what I have to use. You can also try layering the waterproof mascara on top of your favorite regular mascara to lock it into place. I don't do a lot of eye liner, but I've good luck with still stay all day liner. I'll also thought doing my eyes first then the rest of my face helps sometimes. Hopefully some of this helps. It's a real struggle to find something that works for you.

I prime my lids with concealer as well before putting shadows on. Have you ever tried setting your lids with a light color eyeshadow before putting the rest of your shadows on? I feel like it has made a huge difference in how long my look wares throughout the day.

I would I also suggest changing your primer or concealer maybe it's not the right consistency for your skin type? I know some people don't like using setting spray but mac fix plus and urban decay all nighter have made a huge difference. In keeping shadows and mascara on my eyes and not all over my face lol.   ❤️

Maybe it is the mascara you are using, I had the same exact issue. The better than sex was making made it look like I had major black circles at the end of the day. I switched to the Lancôme BIG mascara and I LOVE it. Solved my problem 🙂
