Perversion Mascara?

I recently bought the UD Perversion mascara and I love everything about it except for its lack of staying power. It smudges on me all and and it's not too bad as I can just wipe the smudging off but I'd rather not deal with that. Has anyone found that using it with the recommended primer helps? If that would stop the smudging then I would be willing to buy it to try it out.

The only time I use this mascara is if I have a sample. I highly recommend Guerlain MaxiLash or Smashbox Full Exposure!
