New hourglass mascara thoughts?

The mascara is fairly new so not too sure how many of you have tried it yet. I saw the description say smudge and flake proof. I'm quite skeptical of these claims since I've only been successful with Japanese brand mascaras not smudging. Has anyone tried it yet? Someone that also has a lot of smudging issues with mascara? Thoughts? Is it easy to remove? Please no Influenster reviews .. Thanks!

So i did get this as a sample to review- but of course my review will be honest. So right away I liked it even more than my tried and true Benefit mascara. It doesnt flake and is easy to get off at the end of the night. The only downside for me personally is that i have to use an eyelash comb after bc it does after two coats stick my lashes together. Other than that I love it and im going to keep buying it!

I loved this product! This mascara made my long lashes look fuller and quite a few people thought I was wearing false lashes. I would definitely recommend this product. I received this mascara for free in order to review it.

I'm obsessed with the new caution mascara! No flaking, No clumping, and smooth application. Lashes look amazing all day! I'm shook!

I personally loved it. I also received it from Influenster but I've said when I haven't liked products through their programs. This one i really did like! 

It made my lashes really long and added a bit of body too. Long lasting, water resistant, and not clumpy unless it's used along with gel liner but that's a problem I've had with every mascara I've ever used. But this one leaves my lashes looking like they did before they started falling out last year from too much waterproof mascara. I honestly see a huge difference! 

For reference, I've added 2 pics: the first is a L'oreal (x-fiber 2 in 1) mascara I was using. The second is the Hourglass Caution mascara.

Honestly, I got this mascara from influenster to try and I was really happy with it. I wouldn’t leave a positive review just for the sake of getting product. I hate when I read reviews that are clearly not real. I have attached a pic so you can see. I had had good experiences with it so far. It hasn’t flaked or smudged when I have worn it. I use 2-3 coats of product. I did put them on while the mascara was semi wet.  One thing I wasn’t too fond of - A lot of the product got on the wand and I kinda had to wipe it off before I could use it otherwise it totally would have just blobbed all over my eyes - if that makes sense. This mascara definitely gave me all day wear with added length and volume. I like that the wand is a bristle brush and not a plastic wand. I prefer bristle brushes more. Id never used Hourgalss cosmetics before, but the Caution mascara has been a nice introduction to the brand for me. I would recommend it. Picture attached for reference of before and after. The second picture is halfway through the day. No smudging or flaking for me

I got this mascara complimentary from Influenster to test and honestly review. I love this mascara, I have naturally blonde eyelashes that aren’t very long, or full. One coat of this mascara completely changes that (see pictures). I am pretty picky as far as mascaras come, I don’t like clumpy, or smeary. I also want something buildable, that looks good whether I’m going for natural or glam. This mascara honestly does that. Out of everything I’ve ever received from Influenster this is my favorite, and I will most definitely be purchasing it as soon as I run out. *I am not getting compensated for this post; however I am creating this post as part of a contest*

Did I received this product from Influenster free for testing?  Yes.  Am I still going to give you my honest thoughts?  Also Yes.  

I am always skeptical when trying a new mascara.  My tried and true is MAC Extreme Dimension.  So basically everything gets compared back to that.  

Use Caution reminds me a lot of the MAC formula - not flaky and adds a lot of extra length which is what I want.  DO NOT try to let it dry and then add more coats it does not work that way.  You have to add layers while the mascara is still wet otherwise it gets crazy clump.  Also needs a good make up remover to get off.  However it does not flake or smudge so difficult removal seems like the trade off you have to accept for stay put mascara.

I’m curious, why no Influenster reviews? When I review an Influenster box, I review exactly my thoughts and experience. I don’t do a “positive” review, just because I received the item complimentary to try. 

I’m very picky with my mascara and I received Caution from Influenster to try and will review with my honest feedback ... so I just don’t get why you’d say no Influenster reviews? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not saying that you're one of them, but just from the influenster reviews i've read, it's almost all positive reviews that don't really have much substance (in that it's "so good, fantastic, best product ever" etc...), it just seems like it's all positive to make sure influencer keeps sending free products.

@mmmiu I'd like to pick one up to try out, but all the Influenster reviews have really turned me off... kind of a shame because Hourglass is one of my favorite brands.

A lot of the "sponsored" reviews seem to be conflicting so I don't know what to think so far. I saw one that was like "it clumps up after a few coats, but that doesn't bother me so five stars" and another that said something more like "tons of volume, no smudges" so I have no idea how it will actually perform. 🙄🤷

I received my Hourglass Caution Mascara complimentary for testing, but I fell in LOVE with this mascara. I am always on the hunt for the best mascara out there and typically uses either Better Than Sex, Lights, Camera, Lashes, or Marc Jacobs. I have a problem with my eyes getting itchy at the end of the night or my mascara getting too flakey. This one does not make my eyes itch or get flakey at all, even if I accidentally fall asleep with it on. Personally, I love it for how I like my eyelashes to look: full of volume, long and dramatic. I usually use about 3 coats of mascara for the best look for me!
