I went to Sephora yesterday to see if I could get the palette because I'm extremely excited about it. It was supposed to be in Sephora yesterday, but it wasn't. Do you know what's happening. Doesn't change how excited I am for it, but I'm confused why it's late and that we haven't been updated

Ugh, I just bought the Violet Voss hashtag palette because I was looking for some purples! Now I wish I'd waited because I have ABH Soft Glam and Prism, and the hashtag palette has quite a few shades that are very similar to those two. (It's my first Violet Voss, and I love it otherwise but only half of it will get use.) Plus I love that it is more cool toned than most of what's out there now... but my husband will think I'm a crazy person if I buy ANOTHER eyeshadow palette!

OMG YES!! I'm so so so so excited! I saw video reviews and my jaw just dropped from how stunning the colour scheme is! I'm going to have to wait to swatch the shades in person before making the leap and buying it though because when it comes to eyeshadows, modern renaissance or yes please is about as adventurous as it gets on my vanity 🙂

It looks like a nice palette overall, however purples are not the best colors for many skin tones such as mine. Lots of shadows are on the brown and tan side and then there's just purples and a little bit of pink. I love Anastasia palettes however, this one is not the one for me! It would look great on many people though! @Anonymous

@Nourofmylife What's your skin tone?  I'm surprised because I know some colors only look good on certain skin tones, but I thought purple was the sort of intersectional color that looked good on everyone.

@IciclePop my skin is light toned with a yellow undertone not a pink undertone. I am not sure if it doesn’t look good on me bc I don’t use purples much. It just might be that I don’t like the color. It’s not the best color on me though. I don’t have a problem with any colors though it might be that I dislike the color lol not sure.

Okay.  I think the palette as a whole looks more cool-toned than most palettes out there right now.  That's a big plus for me, but given your skin tone I'm sure it isn't for you!
