Monolid advice?

I have hooded monolids, i stick with neutrals when it comes to eyeshadows but wondering how other monolids our there do their makeup and what eyeshadow techniques you use. Just trying to change things up in my weekly looks.

Re: Monolid advice?

I make sure to use waterproof eyeshadow and apply eyeshadow in a vertical gradient style where I start off with the lightest shade then as I get closer to my lash line the color eyeshadows I use get darker to create depth. I actually make beauty tutorials focusing on monolids. Link in bio, check it out if interested!

Watching tutorials on YouTube really helped me learn how to create looks for my hooded eyes @sweetsakura1219. Sephora has a video called Hooded Eye Makeup Tutoral and itโ€™s fhe best! They also have a few others that are great, good luck! 37BB47EE-8E46-45C9-AB2B-817E2E672B38.jpeg

RE: Monolid advice?

smoky eye and slight cut crease can be better . U may know what's the smoky eye. But the slight cut crease, is not real dramatic cut crease, it can help you create double-lid look . U can apply a matte and light brown color on your whole lid, then apply the concealer on your lid , finally apply the shimmer shadow on the lid.

Re: RE: Monolid advice?

Thank you!! Iโ€™ve been meaning to try cut crease! I will definitely try it out!! ๐Ÿ˜Š
