Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

Every makeup wipe that I’ve tried has worked perfectly well on my face, but always seems to sting the sensitive area around my eyes. Has anyone else had this problem, and maybe has found a product that cleans makeup off the eyes but doesn’t sting? Thanks!

If it's not too heavy, there's always a wet Makeup Eraser. If there's a lot of it, coconut oil or old-school cold cream.

I use the hydrating wipes from neutrogena, every other kind they have breaks my skin out but those ones are very soothing

@Br0wnEyedGirl

Clinique's Take The Day Off (both liquid and balm versions) are the best for removing stubborn eye makeup with no irritation whatsoever. I'll link it down below for you to check out. The Clinique counter always has samples on hand if you wanted to test it before you invest in it. Good luck!

RE: Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

Update: Thanks everyone! I’ll try to find a few of these ASAP - probably a week or two. If anyone with this issue wants to know how the products work out, leave a reply! I’ll be sure to get back to you. Thanks again!

Re: Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

Hi @Br0wnEyedGirl! My eyes are super sensitive too and I found that Biotherm Biocils with Shiseido cotton pads is the best combo. It's gentle but removes the makeup very well. Even heavy duty eye shadow. Laneige's lip & eye makeup remover is pretty gentle too but is better IMO if you have a less dramatic eye makeup. You just need a lot more product to get it all off if you have bold eye look. Also I know that the cotton pads are very expensive for what they are but it made a huge difference for me and I will always purchase these. Hope this helps.

@Br0wnEyedGirl,

I also recommend the CLINIQUE Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, which is fragrance free and extremely gentle at removing eye make up.

Re: Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

@Br0wnEyedGirl I like Simple Micellar Water and I use a cotton pad. Does the job and doesn’t irritate my eyes.

Re: Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

I would try Bioderma Sensibio.  You can get it at Beautylish.  It's great for sensitive skin and doesn't sting.

Re: Makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

The Clinique take the day off works great for me. I have sensitive eyes as well.
