Lash Extension Cleanser

Can anyone recommend a cleanser that is suitable for eyelash extensions? The extension technician recommended baby shampoo for my lashes and itโ€™s really drying out around my eyes and on my cheeks.

I always use the Soy Face Cleanser by Fresh ! It is very sensitive and soft on the lashes ๐Ÿ™‚

There are several lash cleansers sold on amazon specifically for use with lash extensions! I use one called โ€œLash Freshโ€ itโ€™s a flaming cleanser and works great.

@Katrina345 For the life of me I canโ€™t remember the cleanser I used when I had lash extensions, it was really good. I know thatโ€™s a useless response, lol. But, I decided to post in the case that I remember I can easily find my way back to this thread to tell you about it . ๐Ÿง

Re: Lash Extension Cleanser

@Katrina345 Hm. I'm stumped on this one. Here's my thinking...and just an FYI i'm not an Esthetician, i'm a hairstylist- so any Estheticians can gladly jump in and give some advice. Baby shampoo has a PH generally (depending on the brand) of 9 or higher. Which means it is very alkaline, baby shampoos are this way as our eyes have a lower PH that way if shampoo gets in babies eyes, it doesn't make them cry. The shampoo is free of oils etc. Oils would break down the adhesive in the glue of your lash extentions. I'm going to assume using a cleanser that is oil free, even a micellar water would be okay.

Re: Lash Extension Cleanser

Hi! my lash tech has been telling me to use baby shampoo as well. It's also been drying out my skin! Mind you I have eczema and just looking at it funny dries out my skin. I am looking for something that cleanses my eyelash extensions with minimal agitation.. good luck right? Any and all suggestions welcome! Obviously has to be oil free and bonus points if it doubles as a facial cleanser.
