Lancome = cruelty free?

Does anyone know if Lancome tests on animals? It would be great if Sephora started posting a symbol on cruelty-free products....  Make kind shopping easy please and thank you!

Hi @jessandtex , according to the cruelty free resource sites Cruelty-Free Kitty and Ethical Elephant, Lancome is NOT cruelty free.

I definitely agree with you that the easier it can be to shop cruelty free, the better! Sephora's info on this topic is not always reliable/accurate, unfortunately. I use crueltyfreekitty (dot) com and ethicalelephant (dot) com, both have extensive brand databases and a great search feature. Leaping Bunny is another reliable source but I would stay away from PETA if you can, their info is not always reliable/accurate.
