Try to use Mac paint point, is a littler thicker texture and it can help you with that.

I have hooded eyes and struggled with this for a while, the only thing that worked for me is the mac prep + prime 24 hour extended eye base

@gizzelleee What type of eyeshadow primer do you use and what type of eyeshadow?

My fave primer is Urban Decay Primer Potion and like @SportyGirly125 mentioned, using setting spray after really helps.

However, I have the worst luck with cream and liquid eyeshadows - they melt, crease, smear no matter what I do, so I just stick with powder shadows.

I second that! Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer is definitely a game changer.

@gizzelleee Maybe set your eyes with powder and then use the eye primer and then when you are done set the whole face with a setting spray.
