How to mascara apply to bottom lashes?

How do I apply mascara to my bottom lashes? Every time I apply my bottom lashes get mascara everywhere.

I always hold a card, like a little paper rewards card or something, under my eyelashes on both top and bottom so it doesn't get all over the place. I have one card specifically for mascara that I don't use for anything else.

Try a small wand. And look upwards while staring at your self in the mirror lol that's what I do
