Gel Eyeliner

Hello! I have been using MAC Gel Eyeliner forever and I feel like it may not be the best gel eyeliner out there. Any recommendations on a gel pot Eyeliner that lasts all day, doesn't dry out so quickly, and is a vibrant black?

Tarte's Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eyeliner is to die for! It lasts ALL DAY you could cry and it won't budge! It's super black as well and also comes in other colors. A cheaper alternative would be Maybelline® Eye Studio® Lasting Drama™ Gel Eyeliner it works just the same! Hope this helps 🙂 xo

Hi @Meelo7, just wanted to chime in with one more recommendation. My all-time favorite pot gel liner is the Stila Smudge Pot. It's creamy and blendable when you need it to be, but once it sets, it stays on all day. The black is also super black!

I'm going to call out L'Oreal's Infallible Lacquer Gel Liner in blackest black. Matte, super black, creamy, goes on super smooth, and does not move once it's down. I sometimes push a little black shadow over the line to super set it, but most of the time, it just stays put forever. BB, MAC, Smashbox, Laura Mercier, all eventually give me that raccoon eye look (thank you greasy lids), but not the L'Oreal. And it's cheap!

Bobbi brown's gel eyeliner is a good high end one and drugstore-wise maybelline's eye studio one is great. Both are creamy formulas and are long lasting.

I personally use morphe gel liner and it works pretty well
