Eyeshadow Primer?

I am taking my little sister shopping for holiday makeup this weekend, and she's complained of shadows never staying put and her lids being oily. I don't have these issues so am looking at advice prior to the weekend, so we have a starting point. Thanks!

Re: Eyeshadow Primer?

Too Faced Shadow Insurance! I have very oily lids and I find that with this primer, my eyeshadow lasts all day and doesn't crease, even in the hot summer.

Re: Eyeshadow Primer?

Smashbox is a really good one or the urban decay eye primer: both are good!

Smashbox photo finish primer is my favorite

Urban decay primer potion is my favourite

RE: Eyeshadow Primer?

I use joe fresh eyeshadow primer available at your local drug store, Should cost approximately $20, it’s almost like a cream and lotion combination and feels great on skin!

RE: Eyeshadow Primer?

I agree please let it dry. I personally do love Paint pot from MAC in soft ocher. Also works amazing and lasts long.

RE: Eyeshadow Primer?

I️ absolutely agree! I️ didn’t mind the urban decay but found this works better!

RE: Eyeshadow Primer?

I love the too faced shadow insurance eyeshadow primer. It works well to control oil and eyeshadows last through really long work days for me!

@jmmacnel Those issues are easy to solve with one product. There are primers by Too Faced and Urban Decay that keep the lids matte and will keep product in place.

Re: Eyeshadow Primer?

I second two faced and Urban decay! Just be sure she lets the primer dry before she puts eye shadow over it or the primer and eye shadow goop together and form a rather unpleasant paste. I learned that one the hard way (oops). I put my eye primer on then do my hair to give it time to dry.
