Eyeshadow Oxidize

Can eyeshadow oxidize? I did my eye makeup this morning using the infamous ABH “Subculture” palette using the shades “Untamed,” “New Wave,” and “Dawn making a green and mustard colored smokey eye. At this point in the day (about 6 hours later), it looks like I tried to make a halloween smokey eye because the green is now black and the mustard is orange. Not sure if it could be my primer or if it’s just the eyeshadow. Any thoughts?

yep!! my urban decay shadows do this sometimes. I ended up getting a nyx white eye shadow jumbo pencil and I use it like primer all over my lids. it seems to create layer where my skin can not make it oxidize. also as a plus it works great as a primer on its own 🙂
