Eyeshadow Brushes?

What are some of the best blending/eyeshadow brushes? I use Morphe ones but I find that they tend to shed. Any suggestions?

RE: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Wayne Goss brushes and Smith brushes are by the far the best IMO. They really do do all the work for you! Both brands are the same price as the sephora pro brushes but are much better made. You will have those brushes for a very very long time!

I have three brands that I love for brushes, all at different price points:

Real Techniques - drugstore brand, single brushes are around $5-$7, sets around $5-$20. Some of the first decent brushes I bought and ones I still use regularly.

IT Brushes - Ulta exclusive, single brushes are between $10-$25 (I don't recommend sets). Super soft and certainly better quality than RT. My most used brushes! The sets can be hit or miss, I find they sometimes aren't the same quality of the single brushes.

MAC - A more recent thing for me, brushes are typically $25+ each. I only have a couple but they're the best brushes I have. The price tag is what's keeping me from buying tons all at once.

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

THE BEST BRUSHES FOR EYE SHADOW IS URBAN DECAY, I HAVE THE SAME FOR YEARS NOW, JUST KEEP THEM CLEAN WITH BABY SHAMPOO!!!!

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

My favorites are Sigma, Real Techniques, and It Cosmetics (sold at Ulta).

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

I really recommend the RealTechnique brushes!! Super affordable and good. All the Korean beauty gurus have been raving it about it.

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

The Sephora Pro brushes are so good! I recommend their eyeshadow brushes as well as their face brushes. The crease brush, the tight liner brush, and angled liner brush are nice. I just got the new drawing brush (the big one) and it is a new favorite blender. I also like the little domed concealer brush for blending eyeshadow.

The It brushes at Ulta are also great- there's one called the Allover Shadow brush that is my favorite.

Sigma flat shader brushes are really nice. The other are ok, but the flat ones are where it's at.

ELF brushes are fantastic, especially at the price. I've had a couple of the white flat shaders for years. The black fluffy brushes are also very good.

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

I also really like the Sephora Pro brushes- excellent quality, decent price, and most are synthetic too, which is good because animals aren't ingredients or resources!

I also love Real Techniques and EcoTools from the drugstore if you need to go cheaper. They are really great quality!

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Sephora's Everyday Eye set comes with 5 brushes and I love them so much. They're also on sale right now for only 19.99. Definitely a steal! My other favorite is actually the double sided brushes that come in the UD naked palettes.

RE: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Sigma and Zoeva are both great! Completely worth the investment. I started with the Zoeva Rose Gold Luxury Set, it's $85 but you get a complete set for the entire face. I've added some great Sigma and MAC brushes since then but many of my everyday brushes are still from my original set! Can't go wrong with them.

RE: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Real Techniques, Japonesque, and MAC are my most used brushes overall, especially for the eyes. I've heard a lot of horrible things about Morphe brushes, so I've never bought any.

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Brushes are important. The most luxe eyeshadow applied with a bad brush can give you trouble. The Elf brushes are crazy good for the money, and if I had just one company to choose from, I would get all the UD brushes. They are very well made of cruelty free synthetic fibers which are easy to keep clean.

Re: Eyeshadow Brushes?

I feel like makeup brushes are worth the investment because you'll use them for years. I like the ones from Sephora Collection and the It brushes at Ulta.

I really like the $3 crease brushes from NYX! wet n wild has some good synthetic ones too. if you're looking for higher end I also love the sigma ones.

RE: Eyeshadow Brushes?

Sigma and Zoeva are some good ones. They're more on the expensive side but they're really good. Also bh cosmetics has some nice affordable stuff. I've heard lots of good things about them.
