Eyeliner

So, I was wondering. Could I use a lip liner as a eyeliner? I’ve been trying to find the right colour and I’ve only found it as a lip liner. Any help appreciated. Thank you on advance 😊☺️😌

To play it on the safer side buying an eye liner might be better cus it could cause eye irritation but there are eyeliners out there that are easy and very cheap to use there are ones with stamps and with marker tips and some with different colors.U can find some here or on shein even amazon.

@beegrl11 @I would read the ingredients because you can’t use everything on your eyes. MakeUpForEver does have a multi use liner.

Some products are listed as safe or unsafe for eyes, face and lips. I have liners for lips and ones that are listed as both. I would be cautious if your product doesn't clearly state on its info ( I mean it's product info on its brand website) where it should or should not be used.

I know personally I have run into the issue wear some products can clog the pores around my eyes and than the next day my eye lids swell.

I would say be cautious and do a bit of research in your product before using it around your eyes @beegrl11

@beegrl11 There aren’t any rules to makeup, so you technically could… I’d be weary of a couple of things though. Firstly, if you’ve already used it on your lips, you risk transferring bacteria from around your mouth close to your eyes, which could lead to an eye infection. Secondly, the formula might not take into account the more delicate nature of the skin around the eye area. The ingredients themselves might lead to irritation. If you want to give it a try, tread with caution. I would definitely keep searching for one that’s meant for use around they eye. What sort of colour are you looking for specifically?

Also, a tip for navigating BIC. We use @ to tag people when replying. It doesn’t always inform people, so this is our work around. Otherwise, messages can sometimes get missed. You can use it to tag other threads too. # works the same but for tagging products.
