Eyelash curler refills

I love my Kevyn Aucoin eyelash curler, but can't find replacement refill pads.  Any recommendations?  Thanks!

From their website: "One replacement pad comes with The Eyelash Curler. Once the second pad has lived its full life, we recommend purchasing a new eyelash curler to ensure optimal product performance. We do not sell the red pads separately."

I've also not seen them sold anywhere. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
