Eye cream for sensitive upper lids

I’m having a hard time finding an appropriate eye cream for my upper eyelid that reduces fine lines AND hydrates. I’m currently using Derma Doctor but it tends to burn a little, but it’s one of the few I found that was specifically used for upper lids. It’s not hydrating enough. I liked La Mer- didn’t burn and was hydrating for daytime, but didn’t do enough for fine lines. Can anyone help me find the unicorn eye cream that’s for upper lids, sensitive skin, mega hydrating, and tackles fine lines?

@LittleJessie one that I find works really well is the Fresh Black Tea Eye Cream. It can be used a full 360 degrees on the eye including the lid. The black tea is your firming ingredient but it’s so smooth and feels like a primer. It would also pair nicely with the Korres Black Pine Eye serum. Man does that help the Eye area look smooth! Together they could be your perfect match!

RE: Eye cream for sensitive upper lids

I have a holy grail eye product that I buy locally but you can also purchase online. It is called Bye Bye Bagz and is by a company called Scrubz (Scrubz.com I think is the website...not sure, but it will come up in a google search). Anyway, it is an eye balm that can be used under the eyes or on lids. It is made up of many different oils (all natural product too) but absorbs nicely and will not be greasy once it sinks into your skin. I have been using it for years and I’m convinced it has helped me with my fine lines and wrinkles. It’s great for sensitive skin too. It didn’t cause milia around my eyes either, which I am prone to with eye products. I have used so many different expensive eye creams over the years and this is by far the best, not to mention reasonably priced. It may be worth browsing the website and checking out. Their other products are great too!

@LittleJessie CeraVe makes a nice eye cream that is gentle.

I am a big believer in retinol for fine lines.  I use Retin-A pretty much all over my face, but it was too much for my eye area.  Once I started seeing fine lines, I knew I personally wanted to try retinol.  I started with FAB Retinol Serum (.25% concentration) and used a teeny tiny little bit every three days, then every two, and so on.  It took me months to tolerate every day with only a little bit of dryness.  Of course I used moisturizer routinely.  IDK if you skin would tolerate this, but I wanted to let you know it worked for me 🙂

Re: Eye cream for sensitive upper lids

Welcome to the super sensitive eye club @LittleJessie!  My eyes also become irritated by pretty much everything.  The only two eye products I've found that don't irritate are Caudalie resveratrol and IT Cosmetics Bye bye Undereye (the blue tinted one, not the concealer).  Bye bye undereye is designed for 360 use, meaning below eye and lid.  It's all I use; I've tried several others and they just didn't work out because of irritation.

I've tried the Kora oil, and if it got too close to my eye, I def felt it.  Everyone is different, so my suggestion is to go to a sephora store and ask for a sample of IT Cosmetics to see if it works for you before taking the plunge.

@LittleJessie I suggest the Kora Radiant Eye Oil. Even though it’s an oil, it absorbs very quickly and won’t cause your eyeshadow to move around. It’s ridiculously hydrating, helps with fine lines and helpS with de-puffing. I have 3 steps for my eyes. I use a Retinol Serum, the Kora eye oil and an eye cream; one for day and one for night. It’s extra, but it works. I use the Kora on my eyelids and it has been giving me amazing results.

How is it sensitivity wise? I can handle a decent amount of harsh on my face...except for my insanely sensitive eyes.
