Colour pop ... is it worth it?

So I have never actually tried any products from colour pop... I know I know I am the only one in the universe lol. Anyways, my question is if the products are actually worth it or not? I tend to use more neutrals but I want to know thoughts on the shadows and lippies from those who have tried and can compare to other brands from Sephora!

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

They are definitely worth it !! Especially their supershock shadows omg, they’re like touching clouds. You can’t beat the price either. I love my Colourpop palettes

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

100% worth it, they are pigmented and blend well, its rare I dislike a Colourpop product, they are pretty consistent. I disagree that they are chalky whatsoever, their powder shadows can sometimes be a bit powdering like abh. They are so cheap so its definitely worth it for me. @m3rc3d3s

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

The colors are wonderful but i found the formulas chalky and there is a ton of fallout. I use extra powder or extra prep to prepare...

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Yes!! I have loved colourpop for forever. Their highlighters are the best IMO and their shadows are amazing too. Plus I use the highlighters as shadows sometimes and for their products to have multiple uses for their price is great.

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Love their eyeshadows. They are so pigment. Ulta selling in their stores now so you be able to see if they are worth purchasing.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

This is a great question bc I have never tried anything from Colour Pop either🤷‍♀️ Lately I have been thinking about trying an eyeshadow palette from them like "Fame" or "Give it to me straight". I'm wondering bc they are so affordable but do they fade quickly? What's the quality like? Blendable? How are the shimmers?

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

I've tried their liquid lipsticks (matte, satin, blotted, and gloss), their Lippie Stix, and their lip liners.

Matte liquid lipsticks - no way in hell. They're super drying, and even when my lips are moisturised, they make them shrivel up like raisins.

Satin liquid lipsticks - not bad, but not great. Also very drying but not as much.

Blotted liquid lipsticks - nope. I was hoping I'd love these since I love the lipstain look but they're also so drying it just ends up looking bad.

Gloss liquid lipsticks - these are alright; they're sticky, don't last long, but they're smooth, pigmented, have a large variety of colours, and won't break the bank.

All - the applicators aren't great, they wear off unevenly, and the colours on the website are very misleading.

Lippie Stix - I like these. The colours are still quite misleading, but they're nice. They aren't anywhere near as drying, and they don't come off as unevenly.

Lip pencils - these are good, and the recommended ones really match the lipsticks.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

I love colourpop, they have such a wide range of colors that im sure you can find something. Their highlighters are definitely the quality as many of the brands at sephora. Their shadows are also very pigmented and are 100 times better than my Estee Lauder ones. 🙂 my favorite light nude liquid lipstick from them is magic wand if that helps. But i hope you give them a try xoxo

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Love Colourpop and everything their company stands for (vegan, cruelty free, etc.) Prices are low because they don't have stores, not because of lack of quality. I personally love them!!

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Colorpop is an amazing brand! Their products are great and so is the price for them! Just wished they sold them at actual stores and didn't have to order it from online.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

I love colour pop-- the pigments are great, keep in mind the way they keep prices low is that there isn't a lot of product in each pot but it's good if you want to try a bunch of fun colors. Maybe not worth it if you are a pick one and stick with it kind of person.

RE: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

The color pop super shock shadows are really nice and super blendable as well as very easy to apply. They are a bit of a gel formula, so they go on super pigmented in a hurry. I prefer using a rubber eyeshadow brush for these. There are some gorgeous colors. My favourite is a nice deep brown called Moonshine. The super shock cheek products are nice as well. I use color pop ultra satin lip in Echo Park a ton and it lasts really well and isn't drying. It's my go to neutral color. I had ordered some gorgeous colors of ultra matte lip but I still don't like how drying they are and they cake up really quickly even with a primer. The kat Von d everlasting lip is a million times better. For the money you can't really go wrong. I would definitely order more but wasn't overly excited about the duty fees when it arrived.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

I'm a big fan of a good chunk of their products. I love their highlighters, liquid lipsticks and eyebrow products. I particularly love their satin liquid lipsticks. Not a huge fan of their eyeshadows, lip pencils, and bronzers though. But the price is great for the quality they offer.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Their lipsticks are very pigmented. I have a few matte liquid lipsticks that are very long lasting. Their brow pomades are also amazing!! The highlighter I tried was kind of creamy and had a beautiful glow.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

In my opinion, ColourPop is definitely worth it. The quality is amazing and the price point is affordable. I love their liquid lipsticks (both matte and satin), lippie stix, lio pencils, super shock shadows (I literally have been wearing these every day for the last month or so)

I just received their crystal lip balms, setting sprays, primers and eyebrow pencil so I haven't tried them yet except for the balms and they work good as lip toppers.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

The products are DEFINITELY worth it. I love their eyeshadows and their lip products. The Ultra Satin Lip and the Blotted Lip products are really great. I think the Ultra Mattes are a little drying for me.

I also consider buying from Colourpop if I want to try a really crazy color and am too scared to shell out for a more 'premium' brand.

Re: Colour pop ... is it worth it?

Their lip pencils are absolutely amazing! I use them as an all over lip colour and they stay on for so long, even through casual eating, I highly recommend them. I've tried their Eyeshadow And I must say that the shimmer ones are better than the matte (I've only tried the ones that come in the pots) I don't know if it's just me but the matte ones seem to require a lot of work and product!
