Clear mascara with hold/ curl - does this exist?

I’ve tried 2 clear mascaras and they... do nothing. They feel like gel, I’m not sure they actually dry. They don’t hold the curl even after curling my eyelashes. Is there a clear mascara that holds any kind of curl and actually gets firmer like colored mascara?

Hi  @iLikebeauty!  Your question caught my attention because I had never heard of a clear mascara before.  I've used clear brow gels, (I wonder if they could actually be used for the eyelashes also,) but not mascara.  I did a quick online search to see what brands make it.

Dr. Hauschka makes a clear Brow & Lash Gel, The Body Shop makes a Brow and Lash Gel, Maybelline makes a clear Great Lash Mascara, as does Cover Girl.

If you have a clear brow gel that you like, Anastasia of Beverly Hills makes one that stiffens the brow hairs and comes with a mascara-like wand, it would be tempting to contact the company and ask them if it's safe to use on your lashes also.

Other than that, lash primers would meet your needs, except that they are a little bit white when dry.  

Hopefully someone else will have a better answer for you.
