Blue Shadows

I have a palette with gorgeous blues, one particular dark blue shade with glitter is my favorite but I never use it because I am unsure how to without looking like I have a bruise on my eye... I've tried using it as a halo shade on my lid (both as the highlight and on the corners), but it doesn't come out right. Any suggestions? I have gone through looks and tried recreating it (I'm not the best at makeup, but I truly want to learn and get better), but I feel like some advice is needed. Thanks!

RE: Blue Shadows

I thought blues would be hard to work with too! If they don’t have good pigment it could be impossible but if you just do a darker blue then do cut crease and add lighter blue it could come out good! I used the Jaclyn hill palette for this one! good luck!

@amesbb  Love the eyeshadow look

Re: Blue Shadows

@kamaa you can use it as eyeliner.

Re: Blue Shadows

@SportyGirly125 I hadn't thought of using it as an eyeliner before.. Thank you! I feel like this was obvious but again I am not awesome at this

Re: Blue Shadows

@kamaa if it’s hard to apply spraying MAC Fix+ On your brush will help apply it better.
