I have SUPER short wimpy lashes. Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base is the best! It makes any mascara good. That's why it's always out of stock.

Thanks! After many years of trial and error, I've found two winners for the major volume I like. I rotate between Clarins Supra Volume and Stila HUGE Extreme Lash. They both give tons of volume and the Clarins is THE deepest black I've found. Honestly, the Shiseido base makes a world of difference. I tried going without it once, and the difference was like night and day. I always use a coupon and get the Stila mascara for 20% off from Dermstore.com. Good luck!

I've had the most success with Tarte Opening Act. Tried the DiorShow one and it didn't work for me at all.
