Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

Hello everyone I just started my make up Journey I’m not super new to wearing make up but I’m getting more into learning how to do certain things so my question is What are a couple good eyeshadow palettes for beginners? Thanks in advance 🙂

Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

I woild suggest any palette Fromm Urban Decay or Tarte!

Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

My first pallet was Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea vol. 2 eyeshadow pallet. It has lighter colors for when you're starting out, and darker for when you get a little better. It's still my fave pallet, and when you get better, it has great colors for a rockin' Smokey eye too!

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

I always recommend Too Faced eyeshadow palettes for beginners because they come with a how to guide to create different looks. This was my first eye shadow palette and I was so happy that it came with a guide. I hope that this helps!

Best,

Zakiya

I agree that a neutral palette is a great way to start. The MAC In the Flesh palette has 15 shades that includes both mattes and some glimmers. I love it. The UD Naked palettes are also good. If you want palettes that are more affordable but still have amazing formulas and blendability  I would try Milani Cosmetics.

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

@CrazyDiva The Urban Decay Naked2 Palette Naked2 is great for beginners.

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

Hi @CrazyDiva,

I suggest checking out the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Matte Eyeshadow Palette Naked Basics 2  and the TOO FACED - Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette are great palettes if you are just starting to get into make up. I hope this helps!

Best Wishes,

Janean

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

Hi @CrazyDiva,

I recommend checking out the following palettes as they're great for beginners:

- Urban Decay Naked2 Palette Naked2

- Urban Decay Naked3 Soft Pink Eyeshadow Palette Naked3

TARTE - Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette Vol. III - Rainforest Of The Sea™ Collection

- TARTE - Tartelette™ Toasted Eyeshadow Palette

I hope this helps!

Best,

Steph

RE: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

For beginners I would recommend getting a palette that consists of mostly matte neutral shades so you can focus more on blending and technique instead of getting distracted by bright and shimmery shades or worrying about what colors will look good together. Before investing in high-end palettes, I would try some drug store shadows so you can try out different shades and see what colors work best for you. But if you’re looking for more high-end makeup, the Urban Decay, Naked2 palette has great shades for a beginner. The shades blend effortlessly and build up pigment easily. Hope this helps, good luck! 🙂

I think starting at the drugstore or Dept. store you can get some nice pallets to start and practice with. And also pick up a nice brush collection also. And then move up from there. Hope this helps you out. @Anonymous

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

@Anonymous i would recommend URBAN DECAY - Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette

Re: Best eyeshadow Palette for beginners

I think that the palettes by Tarte, Too Faced, and Urban Decay are all great for learning. The formulas are easy to work. They're not extremely pigmented, so the color builds intensity easily. I recommend choosing a palette with colors you know you'll use, but I personally really like TOO FACED - Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. I will say that having the right tools helps tremendously, so investing in brushes is a great idea.
