Beginning make up

Hey everyone, I just want to say any advice would be appreciated! I’ve really wanted to start make-up but I want to start of with just concealer and from there starting my make-up journey. Since a lot of make-up gurus start of with primer I was wondering if primer really necessary for just concealer.

@swaggers935 Primer is just something to prepare your skin for the makeup you put on top. It doesn’t have to be a dedicated product, it could be as simple as whatever moisturizer or even sunscreen you use in your skincare routine. Try it and see if you like it. If you don’t, you can always add a dedicated primer to your routine.

@swaggers935 @It really depends on your skin type. I always use primer on my face and eyes so that my foundation and concealer can last longer. Other people don’t use it and are fine. I would suggest trying without and see how it works.

@swaggers935 I rarely use primer.  I feel like skincare can do what primer can for a lot of people.  That said, you don't need to use anything if you don' t want to.  That's the beauty of make up.  Some people love to use everything and some love just one or two products.  It can really be tailored to whatever you want.  No rules!
