Applying eye shadow & mascara

Anyone willing to give some tips to this "senior" lady, who loves to wear eye shadow and mascara ( and who always has for years!), and now finds it difficult and frustrating to apply with less than desirable results--especially with the wrinkles that have appeared and the start of droopy eyelids?  Any and all ideas greatly appreciated!

Hello! Before applying eyeshadow or eyeshadow primer I use an anti-aging eye serum. Check out Wayne goss YouTube channel he has loads of tips on how to apply makeup on all kinds of skin including mature skin! Best of luck!
