ABH Modern Renaissance or Tartelette in Bloom?

So I want to choose between the modern renaissance and the tartelette in bloom palette. I like both but I’ve noticed that I might not use either the dark shades in the tarte pallet or the cranberry plum shades in the MR. I’m somewhat leaning towards the tarte palette but the MR catches my eye every time I see it. I’m a little hesitant about MR though because I don’t use those kind of shades on a daily basis. If anyone has either one or both of the palettes I’d really love some feedback on the quality of them. Also note that I recently received the Cat’s Pajamas palette which has 2 cranberry shades that I find decently wearable with a light hand. Here’s a picture of the palette if you haven’t heard of it:

I don't own the Tarte one, but I know it swatches beautifully.

I do own ABH MR and I do love it. I have so many palettes, but it's quickly become one of my favorites. I was a bit hesitant by the reds/pinks as well, but the more I played with it the more wearable looks I was able to discover. Also, on days when you don't want to do red, there's enough "basic/typical" colors in there for a neutral look. Overall, I think it's a great addition to anyone's collection. @AllieRoehm

They are both in my top 5 palettes.  If I could only choose one, I would take ABH Modern Renaissance, however I love Tarte's Tartelette in Bloom!  Im sure that was not helpful.

I don’t have tartelette in bloom but I sure do love my Modern Renaissance! Very pigmented, creamy, and easy to use. You can make so many beautiful looks- from everyday wear, to night out, and more. One of my favourite palettes for sure!

I personally prefer Modern Renaissance, I think there is less fall out with the Tarte one but the colors looks prettier on in MR.

I bought my modern renaissance pallet awhile ago, but I was torn between the 2 as well. I felt the same way about not knowing if I was going to wear the really dark cranberry shades in the pallet, but it is honestly one of my best purchases yet. You can do a lot of looks with the pallet as well like a dark maroon look, or a nice pink look. The formula is really nice, but a tip with the shimmers is that they do loose pigment after awhile so I would use setting spray so they will stick and not loose pigment after 3 hours. But, I would honestly go with the modern renaissance pallet.

I'd pick the Tarte pallete. I think they have more control over their fallout
