@CynthieLu  Heh, and I was just telling myself (again) that I should rejoin the 100 Days of Lipstick thread for another 100+ days so I can force myself to massively declutter (again) my lipstick hoard. I also need to reduce my eyeliners so I might as well jump into this fun thread. This’ll be easier since I have less eyeliner than lipstick, though now I’m remembering my gel pot and clay pot liners and liquid liners… oh boy. 😅 

My self-imposed participation rules:

For my posts, I’ll focus on products marketed as eyeliners—not eyeshadows or multi-use products, with 2 exceptions: LH Cosmetics Crayons and MUFE Artist Color Pencils. Both of those are multi-use products. But I never cross contaminate eye and lip products (no applying the same liner pencil to both my lips and eyes) because the last thing my eyes need is bacterial infection. So I’ve got duplicates of certain MUFE & LH shades: one pencil’s dedicated to eyes, the other to lips.

What I won’t count as eyeliner in this thread are things like Danessa Myricks Colorfix and MAC Paint Pot. This way, I’ll be more inclined to actually run through my true eyeliners and hold myself accountable for whittling down my collection. 

And hey, here are 2 eyeliner shades right off the bat: 

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Liner - Walk of No Shame Collection Walk of No Shame on outer corner (top & bottom lash lines) and Natasha Denona Macro Tech Eye Crayon High Pigment Pencil Eyeliner Fushi on inner corner. 

WONS is one of my favorite berry red eyeliners. And this pencil’s a reliable go-to: it always applies smoothly. 

Fushi is, of course, brand new to me. It threw a tantrum during application: lots of skipping and crumblies. Most yellow liners (by any brand) have that problem to some degree, but I’d hoped for better here. I did have better luck warming it up on the back of my hand first. I still wound up topping it (on the top half of my inner corner) with the eyeshadow shade Fushi from Natasha’s Yucca palette, which is also on the rest of my eyelid. 

EDIT: forgot how finicky BIC sometimes is about me posting photos from my tablet.

Those are very admirable goals. 

I was just looking at ND's yellow liner and hoping someone on BIC bought it and would say a bit about it. The swatches on Natasha's site looked so good. Thank you for the breakdown 💛

@CynthieLu @I have ND Willow and Camu Camu and have done looks with them and I own a bunch of VB liners. Definitely recommend them.

No problem, @CynthieLu!  I think several BICers bought one or both of ND’s yellow liners 😄 ; eh, they might’ve had better luck with Fushi. I haven’t used the other yellow (Camu Camu) on my eyes yet but probably will this weekend. It’s honestly hard to find a really good yellow eyeliner that performs very well. In fact, I might just run through all my yellow liners first in this thread and see which ones make the cut. 

And this reminds me to order Victoria Beckham’s new one, which I hope is a matte yellow instead of a metallic/shimmery gold. (I like gold liners but don’t need another one.)

Lol yeah @WinglessOne & @CynthieLu .  They definitely made several appearances in the hauls thread.

I have it, Tagging @SportyGirly125 , @Buootiful and I think @Mellmars1185 if they wanna share their Fushi experience.  @lmaster , too (I know you have willow, don't know about others?)

@CynthieLu- I have the brown, burgundy ones, too.  I like them, and my experience with them has been overall favorable, but more because I don't really line underneath my eyes, so the crumbling would probably happen for me there since that part of my skin is drier (like most folks). My lids are oily so perhaps that's why it works better for me there, just speculating.

I have had the brown one crumble when I sharpened it, so I actually keep the tip kind of dull, as I use it or angle it, I can still get the line I want and then use a liner brush to get it detailed, or just use tape to force it into a shape.  When I used Fushi the second time, it was a little patchy in the inner corner, but I just went over the spot until I was satisfied and it help up.

Ooh I've never tried VB anything but I've seen some good use of it on here in the threads. I hope it looks and acts the way you want it to  @WinglessOne  I'll love to hear about it too 😉
