Re: suggestions?

Don't over wash wash with small amounts of product once a day and apply a thick moisturizer after

Re: suggestions?

@AbigailAbs Hiii I have Eczema too so I need to use a heavy/thick moisturizer daily. My skin soaks it all up so no matter how thick I don’t find my skin greasy after. Products definitely on the expensive side but in my experience so worth it that I love are:

Farmacy:

Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer 50 ml $65

Kiehl's Since 1851:
Ultra Facial Refillable Moisturizing Cream with Squalane 50 ml $51.50

I also always use a Hyaluronic Acid before moisturizing🫶🏻

Re: suggestions?

I have excema and the only thing that worked for me was prescription cream from my doctor. If you can't get that, tatcha's indigo overnight repair cream is good as well, but prescription cream is the best.

Re: suggestions?

@AbigailAbs This is exactly me! Here’s part of my routine that deals with dryness and irritation.

Cleanser

Byoma Creamy Gel Cleanser OR The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL

If you wear makeup and need to double cleanse Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

Toner

Tower 28 Beauty Tower 28 x Kung Fu Panda 4 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray 4 fl.oz. / 120 mL is AMAZING at calming down red, angry, irritated skin. It’s also anti-bacterial, so it’s great for infections on your face.

Serum

The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hydrating Face Serumis great for adding hydration back into your skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in your skin, so this should cause any irritation and trigger more flare ups.
The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum for Sensitive Skin Hydration 1 oz is helpful for giving your skin barrier some extra help with repairing itself.

Moisturizer

#SEPHORA COLLECTION All Day Hydrator Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer 1.69 oz/ 50 mL OR Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer 1.86 oz / 55 ml or CeraVe moisturizing cream for dry skin are hydrating but still gentle for sensitive skin. Tower 28’s entire brand is built on working well with sensitive skin folks!

LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL is excellent for PM routine.

And I sometimes top it all off with Aquaphor or Vaseline to seal everything in.

Other

Constant hydration and running a humidifier are also helpful for keeping skin moist. Sometimes I’ll do an oat bath too. You can buy colloidal oat bath packets but you can make your own by tossing a cup of unflavoured/unsweetened oatmeal into a blender and blending until it’s a powder. Add it to your bath water and soak away the irritation.

Re: suggestions?

I have eczema prone sensitive dry skin and my favorite moisturizer is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration – Face and Body Moisturizer for Skin Repair. One of my favorite things to do at night is to put aquaphor under my eyes and on my eyelids, as well as any dry patches and the lips. Give it a try...it helped me so much.

Re: suggestions?

I use Kiel’s overnight ultra hydrating mask w squaline, day and night. I also have Tatcha and on days when I feel significantly dry, will layer the two.

The Kiel’s absorbs so easily, so don’t let the ‘mask’ in the name frighten you off!!!

Re: suggestions?

@AbigailAbs I love the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin™ Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream and the other products in that line for my super dry skin.  I live where the air hurts my face, and have dry skin to start... this stuff has been a life saver the last few years!  If I know I'm going to be out in the wind for a while I'll use this as my moisturiser, add my SPF on top of that then use a layer of vaseline on any exposed skin.
