my skin is terrible, help!!!

I am a teen and my dermatologist says i have seborrheic dermatitis but nothing is working! and how do i clear the dark spots/acnescars? i have dry skin.

  1. Try to not think of your skin as terrible.  Your skin is your skin, and just like anything in this life, it can change. 
  2. Take your dermatologist to task.  If they gave you something, you followed instructions and it didn't work, (politely) make them work... Ask for something else or at least get their opinion of why they gave you that regimen. 
  3. Check your non skincare game.  Healthy things in your diet? Enough water? Enough sleep? Any fun things for stress?
  4. Give things time.  Skin takes a few days to turn over, plus dark spots generally fade on their own. 
  5. Wear sunscreen.  I have acne scars, and without sunscreen, they may become hyperpigmented.
