fenty beauty: worth it?

hey everyone!! I have super dry skin with bumpy texture on my nose, chin, and a little bit of my cheeks surrounding my nose if that makes sense. I’m wondering if the fenty beauty primer and foundation is worth it for my skin type?

Re: fenty beauty: worth it?

Hi. I have very textured skin because I develop milia all over face constantly. It's literally 100's of tiny bumps like chicken skin I call it. I ordered FENTY foundation online several colors and her primer and tried it in an area and it looked horrible. Every lil bump shows and I mean they are tiny like tip of pencil sharp tiny. But it shows it and makes it look worse than it is. In my experience Make Up Forever Ultra Hd liquid foundation is the best for dry and textured skin! But ya can always use other FENTY stuff. Maybe just not foundation. Good luck!

Re: fenty beauty: worth it?

I have supppperrr dry skin and LOVE the Fenty foundation (but please keep in mind that I have always loved/used matte foundations). The Pro Filter is a very thick, creamy, pigmented foundation that dries down matte and if you have super dry skin, it CAN pull and be uncomfortable to wear. My trick is to actually apply a very thick layer of moisturizer right before using the foundation and I have had zero issues with the foundation! It applies beautifully and stays put all day!!

Re: fenty beauty: worth it?

I highly disagree that it's "thick" and "creamy". It's definitely a thin foundation for me. I am also super dry skinned and have tons of texture.

I will agree though. a whole heap of exfoliation and hydration will do wonders.

RE: fenty beauty: worth it?

I have very dry and sensitive skin and try the Fenty foundation and truly didn’t like it at all on my skin. I feel like it’s pretty matte finish is more suited for oily or combination skin. But it might just be a personal preference, since I like more a glowy finish for myself.
