Please Help! Best Primer for dry/combo skin & acne prone?

Hi, I was wanting to reach out and ask if advice on amazing primers? It can be water or silicone based, but my major issue is acne and lack of hydration with makeup on. I’ve tried primers from Laura Mercier, Laneige, and Hourglass and still have issues with hydration with my makeup. I have a hydrating skincare routine and feel great w/o makeup, but I tend to dry out with makeup on. I was wondering if my primer wasn’t good enough? Please let me know any recommendations, and thank you four your help! ❤️

@xantheyeen The NYX plump right back primer to me is really good at maintaining hydration. It has electrolytes and vitamins in it so it works pretty well for my sensitive skin. There’s a mini size for $8 if you want to give it a trial run. 
Also, are you sure it’s your primer instead of your foundation? Do you use a hydrating foundation as well?
