Need exfoliating tips!

I have only used the scrub-type facial exfoliators. I would like to try a peel, but have no idea how they work or what to look for. I have fairly dry skin, my main concern is flakiness. I need something that will gently scrub away those annoying flakes. Recommendations and tips please! 😊

@GingerJess27 I would rec exploring AHA products 🙂  You can start low and take it from there.
